    Huh. I'm Significantly Relieved, Actually.

In a rather neck-snapping twist of fate, Equestria Girls: The Friendship games was not only decent to watch, but it doesn't canonically F**K my most recent story, "Father". In fact, I don't even have to slap the 'Alternate Universe" tag on it. Hah! I can even stop putting it off!

    My Greatest Mistake.

Guys... If I may confide in you.

Downloading Windows 10 was probably the STUPIDEST thing I've ever done (not counting the time I decided to go fishing in Pittsburgh... F**kin caught a dead raccoon). All of my customized setting were reset, my priorities became OH SO un-prioritized, and Windows Media Player has become OBSOLETE!

    For The Love of 'Father'

    Greetings, beautiful people.

Craine here for an update with my recent multi-chapter story, 'Father'. As some of you may know, the first four chapters of this story were updated every Saturday, and I actually intended to keep that up... Until my work schedule changed to eleven-f**king-hour days, six days a week.

So... This Is a Thing Now.

Here's exactly what you're gonna do; you're gonna shower this wonderful woman with adoration and praise, and encourage her to do more readings across the FiM fic-verse.

    Do it.

The Cycle Begins Anew. · 7:01am Jan 1st, 2014

New Year’s Day means different things for a lot of different people. For some, it’s an honest-to-God start of something new. For others, it’s just another day, a time to get obliterated at a bar with friends (guilty as charged), or the beginning of the rest of one’s life.

For me, it’s a celebration of life, thought, and renewal. And on this night, with my drinks spilled and my resolution shouted deep from within Downtown Denver, I will now celebrate the Fimfiction Community.

No doubt, this site has granted me the privilege—no, the honor—of meeting some of the most supremely gifted minds in creative literature. Most of whom, sadly, would not pursue a career from it. Through the stories I’ve read—and even fewer that I’ve faved—I’ve seen temperaments of ALL kinds. Introverts, adventures, military-brats, spoiled brats, rich kids, hermits, hopeless romantics, and air-heads.

The diversity here on Fimfiction is precisely why I’m on this site every day. And it surprises me at LEAST every week. Am I referring to the Writers Group notifs? Hah! F**K no! When you’ve got a notification system down to a science, you KNOW there’s a problem, but I digress.

I’ve been here for 40 weeks, and all I’ve seen is growth and development amongst the writers who strive to do better, to be better. Through them, I too have grown as a writer, and shall continue LONG after I’ve said my goodbyes to this wonderful community.

This is the first of (hopefully) many New Year’s celebrations on Fimfiction. I wish for new beginnings, new styles, new perspectives, new methods, new thoughts, new purpose! Take up your wine, hats, and pens future novelists, and let us celebrate 2014. Let us start again!

Happy New Year!

Honoured to sail this ship with you, captain.

Tally ho! To the distant land of 2014 we go!

1670895 *Dawns one-of-a-kind hat* Hoist the sails and rally the crewmen! We ship off now!

Your new avatar is 2scary4me D:

1672199 Well, night terrors have that affect on people :pinkiecrazy:

1672245 What was the old one? Was it something from WoW? I feel like I remember something from WoW looking like that, but I can't quite place it.

1672248 The old one was Absalom: The Avatar of Chaos from Darksiders 2. This one... was the bane of my existence in 2007... Night Terror: Destruction Incarnate from Soul Calibur 3. *Shudders*

*sniff* beautiful. hollyscoop.com/sites/hollyscoop.com/files/Cryinggifs_01_1.gif

Yes, a shame to see good talent wasted. And here I am moving towards such a career but so far I have yet to show people good quality literature.

I have two new year's resolutions.
1: to read more. I need to catch up on all those books I bought.
2: get back to writing on my novel. I've set that aside for fimfiction, and honestly it was worth it. I say that because fimfiction is what showed me how to truly write; not because of the stories, but the people!

1672637 Ah, yes. Needing to catch up on reading is the fastest way to not catch up on your reading. It's times like these when you wake up in the morning, break out of your normal routine, do something completely different, and just pick up that book. It may not seem like it, but just doing so has surprising results. :ajsmug:
