Post-Holidays Update · 6:01pm Dec 27th, 2013
Hey everypony!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope your winter festivities have all been enjoyable.
I wanted to give you all an update before the end of the year. Chapter 6 of Pure Hearts is within 10% of its minimum goal, and from there it's simply a matter of finishing out the planned content. I am thinking of making it into two separate chapters since the amount of material I still have planned is too much for a single chapter (it would carry it likely to somewhere around 30k words if I were to put it all into one). This will likely make six end up somewhere around 15k-20k words give or take, and seven roughly about the same length.
Due to this segmenting of the chapter, I would have likely had it finished by now if I didn't fall sick this last week with what I believe was a slight case of viral pneumonia. I'm okay though, don't you worry. I'm back to feeling human again, save for a little residual coughing. I'm back to working on the chapter and will have it off to my pre-readers and editor by the end of the year.
I am toying with the idea of releasing both six and seven at the same time. However, that would put their release off another month or so at the least, so I probably won't. I just want you all to know that the possibility is there, even if it is unlikely I would do that to you after you've waited this long already.
Anyway, as far as Flying in a Blue Dream goes, I still haven't touched it since the last blog update, seeing as I've been putting all my effort into this next chapter of Pure Hearts. I promise you though, it will follow shortly after the end of the year.
