Well then, I guess it's time to post the results of that last poll isn't it? I mentioned this in my last blog, but now it's official; one person voted, so they have
single-handedly decided what story I'll be rewriting over the next couple months (don't they feel special?). And, of course, it was What Makes Us Special, arguably the fic that needed it most. It'll take me a while to get into the rewrites and the story, but once I do it'll go fairly quickly.
Now then, for about two months now I've been ticking to a weakly-schedule for updates. And I've finally grown sick of having deadlines (gee, that was fast) so I'm saying screw due dates, they update when they update. Which, granted, could be a lot faster or slower then before. However, this does not mean I'm stopping work on anything, or even declaring a hiatus. With the rewrites starting soon, a fic being planned, two being actively update, and another which I'm working on the first chapter (if I get really into it, it could be released tonight) I have a lot on my plate. But right now that's not such a bad thing. I've finally gotten back into writing, so I'm rather productive. That being said, it's possible that I could update everyday. However, this would also mean shorter chapters (2000 instead of my usual 4-6K) and I'd update the up-and-coming fic more then the others, simply because of what it is.
Speaking of, it still needs a title (I'm open to suggestions) and is the successor to Rainbooms and Romance. It's a slice-of-life snapshot Twidash series. The key difference from RR is that it's all in one story line. It's still prompt based, and I'm still taking prompt suggestions from you guys. Expect that up in a few days.
Under Our Wing will be the next thing to be updated, I've just hit a minor block. It's only minor, though, so once I finish this scene I'm stuck on it'll go pretty smoothly the rest of the chapter. Of Sky and Snow is gonna be getting pretty good soon, so I'll be more inclined to write then then anything else for a little while until we get a few things finished in it.
So thoughts on nearly-daily short chapters? Post 'em below.
Until next time,
Kodeake out
I still wanna offer prompts for the Sequel to RR! And SUPPORT! You were one of the first Twidash authors I came across and I can't wait for more!
