News of the week 13 (mlp season 4 spoilers)

MLP Review:
Episode 3 was quite amusing for many different reasons. First off, it has helped me understand that Twilight will still be living in Ponyville despite being an Alicorn (Does that mean mayor mare is no longer in charge of ponyville? who knows) And she has immediately begun on trying to solve the mystery of the unknown box which we probably won't know what is in it until the season finale. Also, I liked how every member of the mane six had a reason to travel to the old castle which we first saw in episode 2 of season 1, and at the exact same time too. Aj and RD betting on who can stay in the supposedly haunted house the longest, Rarity trying to find some sort of drapes for fashion with Fluttershy and Angel. Pinkie Pie throwing some kind of party on which I've forgotten its name.

Speaking of angel, why does he suddenly get bowl after bowl of carrots throughout the episode? I was hoping he would be just as scared as everypony else. Why? Because he deserves it and you would probably agree if you've seen his attitude though out all 4 seasons. Oh well, at least Discord got to torture him a little bit while he was being reformed last season^^

To me, I had a feeling I knew who the ghost was going to be, and even though I had my doubts, I was right :D I won't spoil it too much if you still want to watch the episode. However, The ending. This I find interesting because we don't know if the ghost will return. Maybe and maybe not, maybe it was just a one time thing but it does leave a few questions open.

In all fairness, the episode was funny and made me smile but I think it could have been a little scarier, but that's my opinion. Overall, if I were to rate this episode, and I'll be doing this with all future reviews...

Because the characters had their own little roles which fit in quite well but as I mentioned, could be a little scarier and needs to have a little more understanding in some scenes, like how playing the organ moves wall and such. Whether I missed something that explains it, please point it out and I'll consider giving the episode a 9 but until then I say different.

EDIT: I took a second look at the episode and it turned out that Twilight explained the organ bit. whoops, silly me ^^ guess I'll make this ep a 9 then.

Now then, something that hasn't been on NOTW for weeks...

Question of the week: Can you please make the chapters of your stories longer?

Answer: This has been asked twice since my last NOTW so I'll explain before I get anymore like this. When I write chapters for any story, I usually give a lot of thought into what I want of each character such as how they would react, speak and so forth. This takes some time and it may take a day or two to come up with a single scene. I also, unlike other writers, use a program called Wordpad to write my stories. And unlike Microsoft word, there is no word count so I have no idea how many words I write for a chapter. I try to write what I can but I did say I'd try to put out chapters more often so it's more of a choice between weekly posting or longer chapters. If you want to put down which one you would prefer, I'll consider doing said choice.

And finally, Friendly Enemy. The chapter is yet to be written but I will try to write a longer chapter for it when I can. I'll try to start on Sunday seeing how I'll be out for dinner with the diving club tomorrow. But until next week, Cheerio
