Hello guys. I'm posting this for two reasons. One, to try and get to know you all better in a NON-creeper way. And the second reason is so I'm not stuck with a "Happy Thanksgiving" blog... Anyway
My question for all of you is this, what is your favorite way to "escape" from the world? Even for just a few minutes? I know this can be personal for some people so obviously only say what you're comfortable with, if anything. I know this is kinda coming out of the blue but I'm a bit curious (perhaps a bit too much) about life and I like to hear other inputs, and I thought this was a good way to start. Anyway, enough rambling. I very much appreciate any and all answers and with that I bid you all a great day! (and/or night)
And yes I'm working on chapter 6 of A Special Night and I'm trying to work on chapter 2 of An Adventure of Two Hearts :)

My escape is reading. Watching videos or TV is a substitute, but that is someone else's projection of their view on a situation. Within reading, you get the authors intent meshed with your own imagination. No one reads a book and visualizes the exact same thing. It is your own world that nobody can share.
My favorite way to escape from the world is through a portal to Equestria. That said, it has (of course) never happened.
I escape every night before passing out for 6-8+ hours at a time by reading pony fanfics (and the occasional non-fanfic book).
Some would think I MAY have a bit of an addiction, but I really don't give a damn anymore. I like reading, and I like ponies, so it works out, am I right?
(I've also been known to proofread/edit for people on very rare occasions.)
But it's funny, If I actually counted just how much fanfiction I've read, it would be in the 10,000,000+ word range, a good chunk of that being Fallout: Equestria and all the good side stories to go with that.
Also, I've read too much shipping. Why? Who knows?
Hell, it's 1:30am and here I am rambling. I'll go pass out now (more than likely be reading "A Special Night" on my phone until I pass out, then wake up with a phone laying on my face.)
I ether play games, read pony fiction or watch some series be it anime ponies or just some other tv series that i happen to have easy access to
Well I for one listen to Musik, from Audiomachine(Best Source is ThePrimeCronus for that kind of Musik) or Two Steps From Hell, Adrianvon Ziegler, Joe Cocker, Phil Collins usw Play some Games, watch Anime/Tv series like Bleach/HimyM or and that mey seems od I start to Writh on my own Fic. (But that will never ever be released. I'm much to shy for that.
)
But for me the easiest way to Escape that world is, thanks to my realy lively imagination, close my Eyes and Strart thinking about something I want to see/experience. It's a great gift but also a terrible curse.. especially in the Wrong moment
