For those of you who read my Mischmasch/Snickersnatch stories, I wanna know the general census of the fans. What do you see happening in the story? Are the updates too slow, not enough, any good plot development as I move along?
Any future characters or character types you'd like to see?
And, question I'd like, what kind of weapon do you see Oddjob wielding after much training and combat growth?

Needs moar clop.Oh! Uh... Let's see. What do I see happening? I dunno... But now that he's assembled such a fearsome team, I imagine shit's about to hit the fan! It'd be cool if he got to fight alongside Luna at some point though. You know you want to write that, Quis.
I dunno about future characters, but there's always room for more Twilight. But I guess that's a given; she's kinda their boss.
And it's about time Oddy learned to use magic! That's the main purpose of his staff, right? That's what I wanna see. Besides that, he can punch down metal doors unaided already. Weapons are for folks who can't do that.
I liked mischmasch all around for how it approached everything, good and bad, it was fun. I am not quite sure what snickersnatch lacts quite right, i can't put a finger on it, its just slightly off, though still enjoyable.
I don't dare to guess what's going to happen. I prefer to let you surprise me
As for the updates, I have no complains. In the past three months you've updated much more than me, so I don't think I have the rights to complain. I said it before and I say it now: go at your own rythm and take the time you need.
So far I think the plot is developing fine. We've only seen a glimpse of the main villain and we don't know much of his(her?) plans, but that's kinda similar to what happened in Mischmasch, Discord didn't make his move until the end, so I think it's fine. Besides, it's good to have some mystery.
Which reminds me, I'm eager to see what surprises await Oddjob in Hollow Shades. I hope they're spooky.
As for the weapon... mmh... for some reason I don't see Oddjob with an edge weapon, although I could be wrong. How about a longer and cooler staff? Maybe a paladin's hammer, or other type of blunt weapon?
How about a katana?
Forget what I just said about edge weapons, Oddjob with a katana would be awesome. Or maybe a zweihänder. Although a two-handed sword could slow him down a bit.
Decisions, decisions...
Well, I've given my ideas. But it's your story, so give him the weapon you want.

Trust me, Hollow Shades shall be plenty spooky. The name just screams it. I'm thinking of keeping the staff, or even incorporating it into a new weapon later on. Maybe a battleaxe?
