my... my parents abandoned me... · 5:56pm Nov 15th, 2013
i woke up just a few minutes ago and went out to go to the bathroom when i saw my parents and my sister getting into the suburban with suitcases. i went outside to ask what's going on when i heard my sister yell 'fuck, he's up. go go go!'
they screeched out of the driveway and drove off, tires smoking and leaving skid marks in the road.
they didn't take everything; just suitcases with clothes.
why would they do this? why...... why did they leave me here... i have no money and i have no food... what the fuck...
first my friends, then my girlfriend, now my family... i'm being abandoned by everyone i know...
and this isn't a joke post. this really did happen. what would i have to gain from this?

Really? I've never heard of such case before unless the person they were abandoning had no hope at anything which is impossible or is extremely violent.

Try remembering all the times you been with them, and think of how you were interacting with them, and if whatever you were doing them was wrong maybe that's probably why. These type of things are difficult to reply to online for I would have to know more than that. Also, try calling them and see they'll respond.

Is there any way to contact them? If not I'd contact the local police to find out what to do in this situation, maybe check to see if there are any local or state services that could aid you.

Calming down, contacting the local authorities, and thinking of how this could have occurred would be the first step.
If it's not too late, you could call the local police and have them put out a BOLO. Or if it comes to it, you could issue an Amber Alert for your family and they'd be found real quick.
They didn't just abandon you. They are probably on a trip some where and didn't want you to come along is all. As you said they only took clothes and nothing else. If they were gonna do as you are thinking then they would of just told you hit the road and kept the house and their belongings. The suitcaes no doubt have maybe 3 days worth of clothes. Are you 100% there is no food or money? Also getting a job is a wise choice right now if you don't have one.

If you can't contact them by mobile and they aren't back by the end of the day, though, you should probably call police. I mean, I don't know how old you are, but I'm assuming if you're "abandoned", you must be under the legal age for living alone?
If you're sure they haven't given any possible hint of their intentions recently, they might be planning a surprise for you. I'm assuming your relationship with them isn't so bad that you would expect them to want to leave you?
I may be a bit too optimistic here, but I really believe that they just went out to do something and just didn't want you as a part of it.
Maybe they're getting something big for you.
Maybe they're going to get that relative you were always on good terms with.
Or maybe your sister just said that in the spur of the moment.
