First of all, yes, I MIGHT be changing Trevor's name to Moonstone, and leave Magical Trevor as a nickname or something. I'm still deciding. (Because Magical Moonstone kinda works as well, so...
IDK. I'm not going to rush anything, so don't worry. Anyhoof, have some general info. (Non-specific for now, though I might update it with more later if I chose not to do the story period.)

Mane: Azure Steel
Eyes: Cherry Scarlet
Accessories: Silver-trimmed black cape studded with silver-spun stars, with an Amethyst clasp to hold it together. He also has a silver-stud earring in his left ear comprised of a dark purple gem. No one knows what kind of gem it is, so it was been called Moonstone.
Occupation: Travelling Minstrel
Personality: Having spent a majority of his life as a drifting performer, he tends to speak expansively most of the time, having a flair for the dramatic. He's a romanticist at heart, which reflects in the music and stories he performs. He can be rather hasty at times, and has gotten himself into trouble more times than he can count by speaking before thinking.
Bio: Because of his Crimson eyes, especially when he was a foal, many ponies assumed that he was cursed, and, while not his fault, would cause suffering to them by his proximity to them. He grew up a wanderer, traveling the lands as he tried to learn every tale of lore and legend, hoping to figure out where his 'curse' came from, and if there was a 'cure' hidden somewhere in the world. As he grew older, he learned how to put his learning to use as a Storyteller, using that to earn bits in pups and inns. He met a bard during his travels who taught him how to use magic manipulation in exchange for helping the bard to overcome their stage fright and have a more commanding presence.
Quirks: Due to his foalhood, he speaks in the third pony most of the time, though he refuses to say what caused him to do so. He also has a 'pet', though will quickly start to 'educate' whoever calls his 'pet' anything but a Familiar.

Eyes: Amethyst
Personality: She's a very energetic ferret overall, though is very mischievous. She seems to love music, though, and is always relaxed when listening to it.
History: When she was only a couple months old, she was playing in the twilight hours, but lost her way from home, Scared, she tried to find a small hole to hide in, but instead woke up an older, independent ferret, who started to chase her in rage. Being smaller, she was able to run through a few branches that the adult couldn't make it through, giving her enough of a lead to run away, though she was still pursued. After a minute, she found Trevor laying on the ground, asleep, and decided his mane would make for a nice,warm, safe place to rest. However, after she got settled, she accidentally woke up the young colt, who couldn't figure out what was wrong. She. being young, wasn't exactly heavy at all, so he just assumed that he was just tired. However, when the older ferret caught up, he saw the young intruder hiding in Trevor's mane, and leaped forward to attack. Trevor, scared for his life, managed to use magic for the first time, using his magic to bat the ferret away with weak telekinesis and a stick. After the older ferret ran off, Trevor still felt his body trembling a little, though it also seemed slightly warm, so he looked down, and saw that he had earned his cutie mark, a Black full moon with a silver wand crossing it. Since it had flashed into existence, the young ferret had immediately run from his mane to his flank, examining it just moments before Trevor did. When he turned to look, he also saw her sitting above his newly acquired cutie mark, looking at him. Due to all of the stories, legends and myths he had learned in the past months, he jumped to the conclusion that she was a familiar, rather than a wild animal that had come to him just because he offered warmth through his mane and tail. After that, the two became inseparable. He then named her after the legend that said the universe's daughters were galaxies, who in turn created alicorns, who then made worlds. Convinced that the universe herself had chosen to hear his plea from the previous night, wondering why he couldn't use magic, as well as why he didn't have his cutie mark yet, he named his 'Familiar' Galexia, since her silver specks of fur reminded him of stars, and her eyes reminded him of nebula in space.
Quirks: She loves to ride in his mane a lot, since it provides warmth, making it easier to get the many hours of sleep she requires. Despite being named by Trevor, she'll give him a light bite on the ear if he calls her by her full name, preferring the nicknames 'Lex' and 'Lexia'. However, when she gets to be too unruly, Trevor discovered a tune that helps send her to sleep, causing her to become sluggish and much more manageable. It is because of her energy, rambunctiousness, and arrogance that partially influenced Trevor's personality, as he thought that his 'Familiar' was showing him what he should be, what his ideal self was supposed to become. She also has a tendency to poke her nose in things that aren't her business, liking to roam the darkness. She learned quickly how to use her small, delicate claws to open simple locks, allowing her to snoop and explore easier. This has caused Trevor problems on many an occasion...
The History behind Trevor's Cape: Lexia is what inspired Trevor's cape, actually. One night he made the remark that she was treating his tail like a cape, which made him think about what he just said. Because he thought she was a Familiar, he often tried to see double-meanings in what she did, so when she quirked her head at him, he assumed that she was telling him that he needed a cape for the coming winter. When he went to a boutique in the town he was currently visiting, he couldn't figure out what color he wanted the cape. He turned to Lexia, hoping that she would tell him what color his cape should be, but instead saw her jumping from skein to skein of cloth, all different colors. At first Trevor thought that he should get a cape colored like a rainbow, but then she started giggling as she tried to jump to skeins further and further away. Seeing another double meaning, he decided to have his cape made after Galexia, making the base black with a silver trim, like her fur, cloth made from spun-silver to decorate it, and then asked for the clasp to be made from an Amethyst, since that was the color of her eyes.
Okay, I believe that is all for now. Really, that's more than what I meant to share, but the more I type, the more I realize that I probably won't continue the story. No, it's not because I take things personally or anything, don't worry! It's just more fun to pre-read and edit, really. The entire purpose of the story was to explain Trevor, and this has done a decent portion of that, so I might expand upon it later in a week or so to explain everything, and then no story! To those who wanted to read it, I'm sorry, but I think it's for the best. I won't be hasty in deleting it, however, so I will put it on hiatus for now, and wait to delete it. Yeah... I'm a real fucking retard for commenting here before reading your story and comments.
2066 XD No, it's fine! Trevor has, and is continuing, to have MANY changes, He first came from the thought that "You know, Bronies are making Dusk Shine, Butterscotch, Elusive, AJ, Rainbow Blitz, and Bubble Berry, (Gender-bent/alternate universe versions of the mane six), so why not do the same for Trixie? Everypony either loves or hates her, and she's AMAZING!" So that's what he started out as, but then as time wore on, I wanted a more... Original character, you know? So I started tweaking. Took away the hat, changed it to a black cape, and made it so that he says 'one' more than he does Trevor, so that he doesn't sound QUITE as arrogant, while still keeping most of it. But then I had to figure out a story behind why he's so different from Trixie, when they should be the same. So I started a story (Awhile back) that said he was made in a magical accident, when filly Trixie was trying to make a small shield, while a bystander from Celes' school was in the area, as he Teleported her away. Well, the two spells made an imperfect copy of Trevor, so he was taken to the school to be 'looked at', since he was created by a fusion of spells. But I eventually gave that up because it just... Didn't make much sense, and was too ridiculous. It was too hard to explain everything in story forme. And now he's further evolving by changing just about everything. At this point, he's almost NOTHING like Trixie, aside from a couple of bad habits that are much more easily explained. Really, that's the reason why I think I'm going to make his name Moonstone instead of Trevor. He's just... Not really Trevor anymore, and I'd like to let anypony use him, just like anypony can use the generic Dusk Shine, ect. (At least, as far as *I* know of anypony can use them...)

I will still likely use 'Magical Trevor', but that would likely just be like his stage name, kind of like 'The GREAT and POWERFUL Trixie!'
