So, it's admittedly rather belated, but I just realized that I have hit the double digits in followers! 
I have no idea what people keep following me for! 
But whatever it is, I'll do my best to keep it up! 
Super huge thanks to all of my followers, current and future. You guys rock!
Question: What are your criteria for following people on this site?
Personally, I only follow people when I have read and enjoyed most or all of their stories, and know that I would want to be notified of future stories. I would make exceptions for friends, but they all seem to end up fulfilling the former requirement anyway.

As for the question, I pretty much follow people for the same reason. If I like most or all of their stories, than I would follow them. Gotta stay informed!

Anyways, to answer your question:
I'm a bit more generous with my follows than you seem to be. I'll follow someone if I like what they've got and I expect more things that I'll like in the future (otherwise, if I only like, say, one story of theirs, I'll just favorite that story instead of follow them). I'll also follow someone if they're proofreading for me or if I'm proofreading for them, to make contacting them a bit easier. Finally, if someone has blog posts that are fun to read, I'll follow them so I can keep up with those. And...those are pretty much the only reasons I issue follows.

It still isn't funny, but what the hay. It's there, so it's there.
It seems like anyone I edit for ends up becoming a friend of mine, at least to a certain degree. And while I may be pretty picky about who I follow, I seem to give away favorites like a contagious disease. I may need to work on that...
Anyway, thanks to both you and 1488186 for being awesome. It's great that you both seem to always comment on my blogs.

I follow people if I feel that their stories are worth the read, or if I could keep in touch with them and maybe help them in the future. Also if they seam like a good potential partner in a Collaborated story. I love Collaborations, they are in fact fun to do.
