Episode 9, a perfect episode. · 3:51am Dec 9th, 2011

I do not take back anything I said about episode 8; but I have to say that episode 9 of season 2 was just... perfect. Sweet and Elite was pitch perfect, excellent, and precisely what MLP:FIM should be - character driven and focused, with a self-consistent world of a unique and special flavor.

It's all in the writing, of course. It's always the writing.

Anyway, I needed to say that. It does seem, though that season 2 is exceptionally uneven. I can only hope we have more episodes like Sweet and Elite.

1583 Stress was her karma. Even in real life, the exact same scenario can happen with unexpected results. In the end, she probably got an ulcer that will cripple her in the future.

:yay:yay

No karma? Having Twilight and company drop in out of nowhere seemed like karma to me. And hosing down Opalesence... Cats make their own karma.

In the end, Rarity's karma was having to acknowledge or deny Twilight and co. as her friends to the Canterlot crowd and being prepared to eat crow either way.

I was really hoping that you would give a response to the comments on your last blog post. I like debating (as long as people use logic and facts), and while some people do agree with you, many others disagree. You don't post your opinions in public and expect everyone to agree with you, since people who disagree with you will be motivated to persuadatroninate against your position. I don't want to attack you at all, I just want to have a two-way conversation! If you don't talk back, why are you saying this stuff in the first place? Comon, Pony has been a very strong troll repellant, rational debate actually happens sometimes!

Unless, of course, you just don't like to debate or take this stuff personally. :fluttershysad:

Well on the topic of karma everyone can interpret it differently. For me lets say I have something moderately good happen then something bad will happen but intern after that happened gomthing good will happen so on and so forth. But it's posable to have a string of good or bad things happen to me then most likely either something really bad or good will happen or I will have a string of the opposite of what initially happens to me happen.

Glad to hear you liked episode 9. What did you think of Episode 10, or do I have to wait for your next Blog update?:derpyderp2:

You say it like Season 1 didn't have any bad episodes.

Over A Barrel was a terrible episode which was just flat out ridiculous, even for a children's cartoon. Who bakes apple pies to fight with? And a team of draught ponies pulling a steam engine?

Too right Wheller, I originally never thought about this episode again because of the silly concept, Pie Warfare? really? I was almost expecting The Red Guy from Cow and Chicken to pop up and throw a pig beginning a Pig war or Pinkie Pie to start a Cake War.
