A Curse Upon my Stories! · 6:17pm Apr 18th, 2012
I have writer's block! The damned bane of my fiction, mind, and life. I have no earthly idea when I'll figure something out. In other words: shoot me.
That could mean slow Sonata updates, no Incense updates, and negative Cantervania updates. At least, for a while. And honestly,
Also, I've been asked to continue Great and Powerful. I've toyed with the idea myself, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts on that? Or any of this?
It is a terrible night to have a curse.
It's a shame you've hit a brick wall with ideas, lad. I do apologize in advance for not seeing your other stories besides Cantervania (I'm an enormously huge fan of Castlevania and this crossover blows my mind). So if you like I can maybe help you with inspiration for Cantervania, but the choice is up to you.
And even though I may not be familiar with the other stories you're currently working on, you can always throw some ideas my way or I can take some time to delve into what you have and maybe throw a few of my own ideas at you. (Metaphorically speaking about throwing my ideas, heheh.)
All in all I wish you luck in overcoming this roadblock.

I has new fic for you ponies to read
The CMC Defense of Equis
(yes, I am fic whoring on another user's blog(and there's nothing you can do about it!(except delete this comment)))
Sit back, do something other than pony-writing for a day or two. Re-read your favourite novel or catch a few films. You'd be surprised how quickly your muse can return once you've had a couple of days not trying to force it!
No artist has an endless well of creativity. The best thing for fighting a seeming lack of creativity is indulging in the monotonous things, I find. Do your chores, fix & mend and clean, just be what isn't creative and see where it might lead.
I'm only ever creative when I've done everything that needs doing. Sadly, that's almost all the life I have.
