Every time I sign on, it's like BAM, Twilight Sparkle Molests Everypony, or Rarity's House of Unique and Fashionable Ejaculations, right in my face.
I'm not that big of a prude. Clopfics give me chills and nausea, but hey, whatever gets you off. Still, having to sift through a wall of clopfics to find something new worth reading is nasty business. Maybe I should use the filter to block marked sexfics. I didn't before because I didn't think it would get that annoying, but I think it's time.
The only reason I keep "mature" on is because there are certain "sex" fics that are also hilarious trollfics.
Also because Mystery Pinkie Pie Theater 3000 wouldn't show up.
In general, mature fics or not, browsing the front page makes me want to rip my eyes out with my own shattered pelvic bone, and that's on a good day.
71265 Right there with you. If it isn't pornography, it's humans-in-Equestria self-insertions. "What happens when two bronies get sucked into Equestria? Nothing but fun, I can tell you that much!" I think I'm numb to it by now, but I've mostly given up on finding anything interesting to read in the New Stories page.
Hmm. I wonder if I should mark My Little Immortal as adult. There's quite a lot of do-it in MLI, after all.

Heh there's really no need. Half the stories I see marked mature have less explicit gore or sex than half the stories I read marked teen.
It's not just clop or gore fics, which you expect not to really try. Nor just the HiE which is what it is, the author's wish fulfillment and should have stayed on their hard drive most of the time.
It's the horrible premises and descriptions on even normal fics. Some synopses I swear are the entire story outline pasted in. Others like "Dash breaks her wings, cries a lot, then her friends make her feel better by being really nice to her" are borderline copy/paste over and over again. Make the words "Dash" "wings" "cries" "friends" and "nice" swappable with other options and you have a quarter of the fics posted.
