Let Me Introduce Myself . . . · 5:02pm Oct 12th, 2013
Howdy everypony the name’s TigerSwirl448 or Tiger if you prefer and I want to say it is an honor to (Finally!) get an account for FIMfiction and to finally put my foot into the Brony community.
Now um where should I start . . . well first of all I'm just a normal young woman; a college student that loves to write and create stories, draw pictures, and also just watch ponies. Well I have been writing since I was thirteen, around sixth grade year for me. It started with a comic book strip I drew (it was a horrible comic!) but after completing it I threw it off when I decided to write.
Funny that the first thing I wrote was practically a fanfic for my favorite TV show at the time, Totally Spies. But of course I wasn't into the internet at the time so I never even heard of Fan fiction. So yeah the story I thought up for became a giant project and all through seventh grade year all the way to my high school years I have finally made the story I started practically as a fanfic in seventh grade. It is now a completely new story all on its own. So yeah, that’s my writing career for you. But no . . . I’m not a truly published author. (If you don’t count those special poem contests, my best poem was in a 2011 poem book. I don’t understand how it was so perfect when I could have sworn to write horrible poetry.)
Okay, so why am I now writing fanfics if I never heard of them? Simple really, it was you, all of you Bronies! If it weren’t for you guys I wouldn't have discovered the fanfics and understanding what they are. Yeah, I know it’s cheesy but seriously. And it was thanks to fanfics that I got into Ponies. Though Rainbow Factory took the spot for my first ever read pony fanfic (which I don’t really think it was that bad but it wasn’t all too great either.) But it was Fallout Equestria that really got me deep in the fandom.
Alright I’m going crazy here. So as I was saying before, I hope you all will enjoy the stories I will put on this site and before anyone says anything like "Wow you update fast and these are like 5,000 word chapters!" That’s because most my stuff was pre-written on my computer. (And most of them were pre-season three.) I knew one day I will be able to join FIMfiction and put all these stories up for all of you to enjoy. There will be times where I will take a week long break since most of my stories were written through Notepad . . . yeah I have so many spelling and grammar issues to fix. That’s what I get for not learning proper typing as a kid. And each chapter for me to edit on Microsoft Word will take at least two hours or more. And I get bored real easy. Especially when I have a computer with internet connection and Fallout and reading my own things then reading other fanfics . . . Yeah you can see how easily distracted I can get. Oh boy, this was long, I'm sorry for boring you guys. Hope you enjoy my stuff and I'll be writing more blog posts later. ~Tiger~
(PS: Oh yeah one last thing. Please give helpful critique comments. I can use some help since most of my editing is done on Microsoft Word. Greatly appreciate it.)
