Well, the first chapter of my very first (and possibly only) fan-fiction ever is up. I was initially only going to post it here and link it to my brony forums (friendshipismagic.org) for them to read. I am a writer by no means so I know Pony Ball Z is not going to be perfect. I just felt that it would provide some entertainment value, so I decided to follow through with writing it. When I submitted I expected nothing but thumbs down and a lot of destructive comments (if anyone actually decided to read it). It was much better received than I thought it would be. So for those of you who favorited and posted constructive criticism... THANK YOU! For those of you who post destructive comments or gave it thumbs down... meh. If ya don't like it. Don't read it. All I got to say on that NEXT TOPIC!
I'll admit, I've watched very little of Dragonball GT What little I watched really turned me off towards it so I avoided it like the plague. If you notice any continuity issues between my story and it, then that's why. I am currently watching the series now to try and clear any future continuity issues up. But any that are already in and that will need to stay for sake of the story... well... they're there to stay.
Here is a basic breakdown of how this fan-fiction is going to flow. Expect something along the lines of the long version of Dragonball Z (not Kai!). You will have your main story arcs that are necessary to the story, but their will be much filler as I generate ideas for Vegeta to get into some kind of trouble, or save ponies from trouble, or just interaction with characters set in the world. You've been introduced to two OC's so far. Main cast members will make appearances, Chapters are going to be kept fairly short as I tend to get bored quickly when I write. Will be probably be many chapters, but not that long a story over-all.
And one last thing to close. This is a Dragonball Crossover. If you expect their to be no fight scenes, then you are out of your freaking mind!
Hell yea, there's gonna be some fights, and they have to be GOOD!
PS: Am I like the only person who actually likes DragonBall GT? I find the Super Saiyan 4 transformation bad ass, the story isn't that terrible, and Krillin dies. What's not to love?
