    That is all.

Oh, yeah. I still haven't finished Chapter 1 of my fanfic. I should probably go do that....

Status of "Reign of Chaos" and preview of later stories

So I've sat down and started working on that fan fic of mine, now that school's pretty much over and my AP US History test is out of the way (seriously, the essays this year were a joke! I could've answered all 5 of them without a problem). The first chapter introduces Discord and the Princesses (Celestia and Luna, of course) and introduces (and subsequently kills off) C and L's father, the King

Update on that fan fic of mine/General Info Part 2

So, after my previous blog post, my mind immediately started coming up with a bunch of different ideas for the fan fic. I'm going to restart work this week, so be prepared for some more info and maybe even some excerpts from it. Keep in mind that I am a novice writer, so my writing style is going to be not that stellar.

Also, some more information about me.

Update on that fan fic of mine/General Info Part 2 · 1:41am Apr 13th, 2012

So, after my previous blog post, my mind immediately started coming up with a bunch of different ideas for the fan fic. I'm going to restart work this week, so be prepared for some more info and maybe even some excerpts from it. Keep in mind that I am a novice writer, so my writing style is going to be not that stellar.

Also, some more information about me.

How I became a Brony: A guy on my bus was watching some of Bridle Gossip and I happened to be sitting behind him. I pointed it out and he recommended the show to me. Later on, a guy that I follow on YouTube, PlayingWithMahWii, created some videos explaining that he was a Brony and recommended the show to his viewers. At this point, I decided to see what the hubbub was all about. One Sunday afternoon, after I got home from church, I loaded up the first two episodes. I thought it wasn't half bad, and proceeded to watch the rest of Season 1 over the span of the next week or so, whenever I had time. So, at that point, I realized that I was a Brony, and that being a Brony wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Over time, I revealed to more and more people the fact that I am one, until now, where just about anypony who knows me knows I'm a Brony.

Hobbies of mine: I enjoy being on the computer (in fact, I spend about half my day on it), watching television every once in a while, playing the occasional video game or two, and reading, with a bit of writing on the side. I also run Track (mid-to-long-distance [1600 and 800 meter]) and Cross Country for my high school.

Favorite television shows: Aside from the obvious My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, I also enjoy watching Sherlock, Doctor Who, Warehouse 13, Stargate SG-1, and informational shows, specifically Air Emergency (Mayday if you're in Canada, Air Crash Investigations if you're in the UK). I'm also starting to get more and more into Burn Notice and Psych.

Favorite foods: I generally don't pick favorites when it comes to necessities (favorite clothes, favorite foods, etc.), though if I were to choose an ethnic cuisine besides American, I would pick Italian, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern.

Languages spoken: I speak fluent English and semi-fluent Arabic, along with a couple words in French, Spanish, and Latvian.

Pets: I have two cats and one dog. One cat, named Handsome, is an American Shorthair, while the other, named Beau, is a Siamese mix. My dog, Maija, is a somewhat overweight Weimeraner, but my family and I have been taking her on runs and walks to maintain a good weight.

Religion: I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, along with the rest of my family.

Location: That's not something I really want to reveal right now.

How to easily recognize me: I'm a 6' 15-year-old, generally seen wearing a dark brown fedora and a blue and black jacket. I tend to walk quickly so as to avoid unnecessary attention and usually listen to my iPod whenever my walks are longer than five or so minutes. During the colder months, I can usually be seen wearing a scarf similar to that worn by the Fourth Doctor (very long and colorful, and yes, I do trip over it on occasion). An alternate outfit of mine that I wear, when not wanting to wear anything else, on Sunday, or when I just want to look professional and different from others, is a red bow tie (sometimes a green one, depending on the season, day, etc.), complete with a button down white/blue shirt, black vest, and grey suit and pants, complete with a small silver pocket watch (I usually wear a top hat with this outfit, though it's nothing too fancy; just one of the cheap, $5-10 ones that you can buy at a party supply store).

Nervous habits: I usually talk to myself, especially when I'm nervous or thinking about something. I also tend to move my fingers and hands around in a sort of up-and-down motion when I'm nervous, excited, concerned, or about to do something that you wouldn't expect.

Finally, what's on my iPod: I tend to hate the music of this century/decade, so I have my radio tuned to my local news station. On my iPod, however, I have two classical pieces (Concerto in G Major by Vivaldi and Rossini's La Gazza Ladra overture), a couple songs with actual lyrics (Exile Vilify, Mad World, Iridescent, Still Alive, Want You Gone, Abbey Road (the entire album), Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (the entire album), and 1 (a collection of all the #1 singles sung by The Beatles) are the ones I can think of off the top of my head), with the rest being soundtracks from movies and television shows (all Doctor Who and Sherlock soundtracks released so far, Portal and Portal 2, Team Fortress 2, Tim Burton's 9, The Hunger Games, Pirates of the Caribbean, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (as many songs as I could find/download, including all the songs and some incidental music).

That's all for now.

Until next time,
