General Information Part 1

Well, this blog will basically go over me without going into too much detail (to maintain my anonymity).

Let's start with formalities. Hi, I'm BZCoolness! It's so nice to write to you all (at least I'm hoping that people read this). I'm going to answer a couple of questions about me over the course of the blog. Let's start out with the thing that is as big a mystery to me as it probably is to you.

1. The Name

I'm not entirely sure as to how I got the name BZCoolness. I'm pretty sure it all started in 2007, but a lot has happened between then and now, and I haven't really cared about it enough to remember why I created it.

I was (and still am, to an extent) a fan of a Lego product known as Bionicle. In November 2005 I joined a fansite known as BZPower, where people could gather and talk about the story, the sets, and just about anything about the line, as well as receive news and information relating to the toy line. My original username was TuragaIriuni934, which I created on a whim by combining the misspelled name of a favorite character, a type of villager from the lore, and a bunch of random numbers. I had always hated the name because it was annoying to type and it just didn't feel right. So, I started to come up with a new name by taking the first two letters in the site's name and mashing them with 'Coolness' (Brilliant, right? I'm still lost as to why I chose 'Coolness' of all things).

The name has gotten dull after a while since I use it for almost every single website or thing where anonymity is necessary. I've kept it for two reasons.

1: BZCoolness is a name that VERY few people can trace back to my actual name and my current location. I have a hint of paranoia within me, so I've done this to prevent anyone who might harm me or my family in any way, be it identity theft or murder, from tracing it to me.

2: It's the only thing that I can remember. Things that are too complex for me are the things that I can't/refuse to remember. The same is true for just about anything in my Internet life. My downfall is that I use the same username and password on almost every single site I visit and join, so if someone wanted to bring me down, they would simply have to know my username and passwords.

That's all for now. In case you couldn't tell, I keep things short and simple, otherwise I fear people will have a case of TL;DR. This is the reason that I don't write much (ironic, in my opinion, because I am planning on becoming a journalist someday).
