Thoughts on lastest FiM episode · 9:39pm Dec 3rd, 2011
Normally, I don't comment much on the episodes that are currently airing. Overall, I've been extremely satisfied with all of them. However, the most resent episode, "Sweet and Elite" tickled me to death because it affects the current story I'm working on, "Trixcord."
Why? Because there was a potential plot hole that I was afraid someone would point out. That being: How does Trixie not know who the Elements of Harmony really are when she tells their story to the masses? Well, I can now point to this episode and say:
"HARDLY ANYONE IN CANTERLOT KNOWS WHO THEY ARE!"
Seriously, the mane 6 are immortalized in Canterlot Tower! They had a ceremony to celebrate their victory over Discord right in the castle with hundreds of ponies watching. Yet, Rarity and the rest don't even register on the Canterlotians (spelling?) radar when they are introduced.
Plus, this solidifies my description of the flighty nature of Canterlot high society. Not that it will factor much in the grand scheme of things but it's nice to see that I got one of my guesses right.
Also. Airships. Who knew.
Really looking forward to that winter episode that will give us some much needed Equestrian history. That's all. Bye!
