And don't worry, the news is good. Mostly. Here's the deal: I have OFFICIALLY FINISHED Chapter 53 of Dueling is Magic! Many Futures. Well, pretty much anyway. I'm debating whether or not to add one more description of something happening at the end of the duel. But other than that and selecting the Featured Cards, the chapter's finished. FINALLY, right?

Merry Christmas, my bronies!

It's been ages since anyone's heard from me, but rest assured, I'm still alive! Unfortunately, I've done basically no work on Many Futures, and I really need to get back to it... but I just don't have as much time as I used to. See, I got me a job. A REAL job, not some temp shtick. It's a burger joint, but I'm enjoying it. That and Duel Links is taking up a ton of my time.

Bad News

I've been putting this off because I'm scared of disappointing all of you, but I guess I have to come out and say it at some point.
I lost it all. The duel. The next chapter. It's gone. I'd rather not explain how.
I honestly don't know if I have it in me to rewrite all of that. I'll try, but I just don't know if I can.

Prepare for the Duel of a Lifetime + Chapter 22 Extended Preview · 6:57am Sep 28th, 2013

I just finished outlining the Twilight/Rainbow Dash duel, and I couldn't be more proud of it! Honestly, the last time I felt this good about a duel was... well, Yusei vs. Paradox! It's not as long- only seven rounds total- but I worked incredibly hard on this.

The duel begins in the next chapter of Dueling is Magic! Many Futures! So here's an extended preview!

Next time on Dueling is Magic! Many Futures

Many of the resistance forces have been severely wounded and are unable to carry out their duties, forcing Yeager and the others onto the defensive. Rainbow Dash reports that Dark Troopers are closing in on the base, and when Yeager orders her to duel, she refuses! But when Twilight challenges her, she accepts out of anger.

"Rainbow Dash, you're a Duelist whether you like it or not! Now duel me!"

"Fine! I owe you a thrashing for what you did anyway!"

But when the duel begins, Dash's anger is quickly replaced with fear as she remembers that Duel Monsters Spirits are her own kind. She tries desperately to defend them and keep them safe! Can Twilight make Rainbow Dash see the truth of her own duel before the Black King’s forces reach the base?

"Amber Mammoth! Amethyst Cat! No!"

"Rainbow Dash... you're better than this!"
