Ascending Star Patch 1.2 [Alpha build] -- Patch Notes

Today marks the first major update to the story, under the planned editing process. Relevant notes are below.

New features in this patch:

- A new ending to Chapter 1, which solves some passage-of-time issues and preserves characterization slightly better.

Fixes in this patch:

- After a degree of consultation, it has been decided that the characters of Celestia and Luna shall be referred to by their correct canon names within this story. As such, all occurrences of "Celeste" and "Claire" within the text have been respectively replaced with "Celestia" and "Luna". The original names had been implemented as part of a legacy headcanon which has since been deprecated. Under the advisement that it's generally best not to change the name of a canon character, the text has been reverted to a more orthodox form.
- Chapter 1 has been updated with numerous grammatical bug fixes, as has much of Chapter 2. These grammatical bug fixes will likely comprise the majority of the content in upcoming patches.
- The Prologue has also been updated to a new form, although the NOTE ON DATES section will still require some fixes to meet the Beta requirements.

These patch notes are meant as a way for you, the readers, to stay up to date on the progress of our fixes to the story. The whole team remains committed to getting the highest quality content out to the community in a timely fashion; however we all are busy people, and so thus this will be a lengthy process. We would like to all extend our sincere thanks to you for bearing with us over this period.
