I really need to let you all in on my big master plans. By that, I of course mean that I plan on… actually planning out how I am going to time out these next few stories. I really don’t like how I end up writing it a chapter at a time and then eventually fall behind. That leaves you all waiting for an unknown period of time while I try to get my stuff together.
So, yes, my ideas.
I am slowly putting together a couple of stories. One of them is a more casual story that really calms me down when I write it. The other is the sequel to the story that I ended up botching the execution of the ending to and everybody wanted a sequel. And since I don’t tell you guys no, aside from if somebody asked for clop, I am going through with this.
Alright, the bad news first… it might be a while. It might even be a month after I put up this blog post that you finally see the story that I haven’t named yet. I actually haven’t named either to be honest, names are difficult.
So, essentially, I want to get at least three or four chapters of the final sequel done before I put any of it up. Then I plan on having it be a chapter a week, still pushing out more chapters as fast as possible. I won’t publish them, mind you, but I will be making them. That gives any pre-reader or editor some time to look it over.
During that time, I plan to also be making the other story. I plan to get to ten thousand words before I title it, that’s a goal that should be easy enough. That story is much less structured, much more free flowing, and much more likely to get as much down-votes as up-votes.
But it is my story of passion, not a story of ‘I think people will give me tons of likes for it’. The story for the likes is the sequel … I should not have admitted that. I’m joking , guys, just joking.
Anyway, another thing I am going to have to do before I post either story up is find art. I have come to the realization that people are much less likely to find your non-shipfic if it doesn’t have a picture. The romance tag just draws people in for some reason. Anyway, so a picture for two stories. If anyone is good at finding pictures, hit me up in the PM and I will be more specific.
I already know what picture would be best for one of the stories, and that’s the one from ‘Secrets and Lies’, minus the title. But since I can’t get that one, I have to think of something similar (or get help).
So, yes, this is an update to tell you that it will be a while before I … update.
That might not be true, you might get some blog posts telling you how I’m doing.
Also, more pre-readers and editors would be a big plus. If anyone feels the need to pre-read, hit me up. That would seriously make my day, night, and everything in between.
New story: Roughly 6k words and the first general story arc planned. Nothing in stone, just the general ideas.
Final-quel: Nothing but some ideas. This one will be more difficult, it has expectations.
I will warn you. One of my stories, at least one of my stories, will contain at least a couple characters from a very popular story I like from here. More like a version of a character. You will have to wait to know who that is.
