Why the "On Hiatus" status is back -> I'm Sorry!

So this summer turned out to be a bit of a bust in terms of actually getting any work done, and for that I am very sorry.

However, I do have some good news. It is my great pleasure to welcome the wonderful Comrade Sparkle to the project. He will be serving as editor-in-chief for the foreseeable future, and for the moment completes my vision for giving this story the proper support (i.e. author, editor, and illustrator). In the future, more staff may be added, but for the time being all of our energy is being devoted to getting the next build of the story up and running as soon as possible. For those familiar with software release cycles, I consider the currently posted version of The Equestria Chronicles to be an alpha build. As we run through the editing process with it, the story may be periodically updated. I will be providing patch notes here for each of those updates, until eventually both me and Comrade Sparkle approve of it, and we have our Release Candidate.

I thank you all for your patience in this matter. Allow me to make another promise to you, which I certainly hope that I won't have to break:

This first story will be done before Season 4 starts*.

*Unless something else comes up which delays that.
