Hey guys, guess what? My computer isn't quite dead yet. Turns out it was completely fixable (and affordable to do so).
Now that that's working, I have finally gotten my chance to play Rome 2.

Not as good as the first Rome, in my opinion, but certainly better than Shogun 2. Then again, I just didn't like Shogun 2.
In addition to this, I also downloaded a soundfont for Musescore. It sounds really good. Not even close to say, a proper sound library or Sibelius, but good nonetheless. It is better than Finale, from what I've seen of the program.
This can only mean one thing:
I can finally make good on my intention to have YouTube videos during summer.
I am a tad bit late, as the semester started yesterday, but I don't care. YouTube is now something that can be done, rather than a fool's dream.
Indeed, I have even uploaded a half-decent video here.
Sure, the synths aren't professional grade like so many other brony musicians, but hey, it feels like a true leap forward for me.
Truly, today is a good day. No, a great day. Not even that, this is a momentous occasion worthy of the grandest celebration possible:
