Day 3 of writing: 603 words of chapter 2.
Total to date: 4585 (plus 4476 pre-NaPoWriMo words)
Today, I am all that is suck.
I am taking this as a lesson. The lesson is, yes, you need to write first thing in the morning, you colossal doofus! Don't put it off!
On the up side, it turns out that what was kicking my butt yesterday was a food intolerance that I didn't know I had. So that won't be happening again, he said hopefully.
And, at least the chunk I got done today was a hard bit of exposition that was laying down groundwork for later in the story. That's slow writing, right there. Tomorrow, the work ahead is dialogue-heavy from the mouth of a character who I already like writing for, so with any luck, I'll lay down a good few thousand words.
oh so NaPoWriMo isn't the same month as NaNoWriMo?
Could be worse...
