Soaking Wet News, "Equestria Girls" Thoughts · 3:45am Sep 1st, 2013
Hello everypony!
I didn't like leaving the classroom update thread as the most recent in my blog, so I figured I'd keep you all posted on how I've been doing. 
As I've told a few of you, I have some very good news - I started a new job a few days ago! No, I'm not a teacher, *giggles* but in a way it's something not too different than that. My boyfriend and I are still getting along quite well, too, though I don't think he's joined the herd yet. 
Things are busier now, certainly, but I like it that way. When I joined this site last fall, a lot of things were in the air, and it's a relief to finally have things start to move again. And I owe much of that to this forum - you might not know it, but you all helped me through some difficult times, and I won't forget that. Mwah.
I know that a lot of you out there are struggling, and I hope my telling you this news doesn't sound insensitive. I want to remind you all, my students, that your teacher will always be with you, and she believes in you all. Never give up - never, never, never. Persistence may not be rewarded right away, but it's never ignored. For example, this job I got wouldn't have happened if I didn't follow-up on one e-mail several months ago - sometimes it's the little things that can have a big effect.
On that subject, I've been asked by a few of you whether I'm going to start a new classroom group. As things stand, unfortunately, I don't think I will. It was a fun experiment and I'm thankful that it allowed me to meet so many of you, but it's just too much work for me to manage. However, I still haven't ruled out writing more MLP fanfiction in the future. I still do some writing for fun, and I've even kicked an idea around that might turn into something in the not-too-distant future, so stay tuned.

**WARNING: Some Equestria Girls Spoilers Below**
The Mane Six suddenly on two legs? All of them becoming magical girls with cute little pony ears? I had an absolute blast watching "The Goddess Within" "Equestria Girls" for the first time last night. I think Jexxy said it a while back about reminding you why you like the show in the first place, and I completely agree. It's left me with the same giddy feeling I had when I first watched the show, which surprised me because I didn't know wasn't feeling that way anymore. It's like falling in love with it all over again. I think all the little "a-ha!" moments where you recognize a familiar character really held it together. And I've been humming "Helping Twilight Win The Crown" ever since - so catchy!
I can see why some people don't like it, and I know it's not a perfect movie, but when it puts a smile on this face, it's definitely something I like.
Anyway, stay confident, my students - stay happy, and above all, stay sexy! Mwah.

Of course Nine Tails is Soaking Wet's boyfriend - my OC exists because of him. I also share a special relationship with each of my students, yourself included. But I'm also in an offline relationship.

I'm concerned about what fanfiction you plan on writing, from reading the Goddess Within and the sequel I was finding your style of writing... unique. I've also got something to tell you. I've been putting the classroom on hiatus to improve my minecraft skills.

That's perfectly fine, my dear Hanna. I know how difficult it is to maintain groups like that. As for the story, I've come up with a few more ideas today. If they come together the way I think they will, you'll have to fasten your seatbelt before reading.
