Not Good Enough

All right, so let me explain.

In my effort to finish Chapter 17 within a month, I came up with something around my usual length that continues the story and progresses everything forward in the direction I need. The only problem: it's a mess. The events are convoluted, character motivations are unclear, and it doesn't have the bar minimum amount of genuine playfulness that I like to put into my chapters. I don't want to post a glass chapter. I want it to be rubber or at least plastic. Something that lets it be colorful and somewhat fun. As is, that's not what I'm getting from this chapter. It definitely needs more work.

So I'm going to keep working on this next chapter. I really want it to be good, and right now it's not.
