Crystal Kick

For those who actually read and care, I may not be actually able to write for a little while. I'm starting school again, as I'm sure many will be if they have not already. Plus, I've hit some writer's block, so I don't anticipate much writing in the near future. Anyway, I want to write about another piece of music I enjoy from an obscure little game called Treasure Adventure Game. This game is exactly what the title implies: a game where you go on an adventure to find treasures. It has a very Zelda-esq feel to it, if the Legend of Zelda was side-scrolling platformer. The art style and gameplay has a great charm to it. It is filled with clever little references and light humor. (next sentence slight spoiler warning:) No joke, you actually need to get high on mushrooms to defeat one of the bosses.

The music, for the most part, is pretty simplistic and fun, which matches this game to a T. The track I bring up now is one I particularly enjoyed listening to, with an upbeat groove and a slightly mysterious, adventurous undertone.
