I have said before that I will get a chapter up every Monday or Saturday, well I failed. So to make it up to you fine followers (which probably didn't even notice my failure until I pointed it out) I'll let you pick what one-shot you'd like to see. I always have a side project going and several "back burner" ideas and I was wondering which one you'd like to see done first. So the idea is this Saturday, I release the next chapter of Escape from Madness and then Monday I release a one shot. Mind you this is not going to be a regular thing, my schedule is beginning to make sense again and I finally should have sufficient time to stay on track. So here's what goes on inside my brain-
The Guard Who Smiled - A clean ship featuring a royal guard OC and everypony's favorite Pinky Pie. Let's just say the guard get's more than a little trolled along the way. This will have the tragedy tag so I leave that to your own interpretation.
A Filly Called Pet - When royal guards storm the remains of the Chrysalis hive they find a young filly locked deep within the queen's personal chambers. This, is her story. (dark, sad but again, I don't do clop or foalcon or any of that sort of thing)
A Soldier's Journal - Those of you who RP with me probably have heard of Chessex, this is his backstory. As the title suggests it's the journal of a soldier of Tevachia (sound familiar) fighting in the Gryphonian border conflict. Unfortunately he returns home in time to witness the beginnings of the Madness Uprisings. It's a prequel to Escape from Madness. originally I was going to release it after I finished EFM but somebrony asked for Chessex's backstory.
Hero's Homecoming - Scootaloo's father returns home from duty to pick up the life he left behind. But shortly after the joyful reunion, Ms. Cheerile receives a misaddressed letter concerning Scoot's father;
We regret to inform you...
So yeah, plot twist's and turns and hopefully a lot of feels.
So there you have it, some of my more promising ideas from the madness in me. All of these will be written at some point. Again, questions, comments, concerns, I'm just a PM away. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be on a "short" 22 mile hike for the next two days so see ya.

Relax man... I used to dream of releasing regular updates like you... but then I took writer's block straight to the head.
Plus, don't put up too much stuff at once... I did that. It was awful... I still have nightmares about it...
Seriously. It's hard as hell to keep track of multiple stories.

1309559 I do suppose your right, I really should stop beating myself up about it. But it really bugs me when I can't even get a few measly thousand words down in a week.
I always have my main project (EFM) and normally one or two side projects, with and infinite number of back burner ideas. But while I was on the above said 22 miler, I got a lot of good ideas/inspiration for some of my other stories which after I finish EFM's next update will get more attention. My brain isn't very good at staying on the same idea for too long
By the way, which of those "backburner ideas" did you like?
