Other Update that has Nothing to do with Storytime

I am working on a pretty big musical project right now, six variations on a theme for varying ensembles. As you can probably guess, this is going to be pony related, each variation embodying a different pony. Twilight gets a fugue (pedal piano, because I hate organs), RD a march (probably with the same instrumentation as one of Beethoven's, because scoring for modern brass bands sucks [coronets, really?]), Rarity a minuet (string quartet, possible harpsichord added), Fluttershy gets an adagio or largo (wind quintet, most likely), Pinkie will probably get a scherzo (piano or piano trio), and AJ gets an andante or moderato (maybe a cello concerto/sonata type-thing. I honestly have no idea what to do for her, save that either a viola, cello, or low brass should feature).
I am about 1/4 the way through the fugue, with most of the other variations in the planning stages.
Three will be major, three will be minor, if all goes according to plan.
I realize I can't build excitement very well because I've only finished one project so far (even then, it wasn't conceived as a project, and I never told anyone anyways), and I don't have recording equipment (or a decent sound library), but that's just how it goes.
