Sequel Update · 2:29am Aug 17th, 2013
Well, it's been a while, so I figured I should give a brief update on the status of my sequel to Twilight's Rainbow. I made a plan for it, started writing that plan, then stopped. I got stuck. Really, really stuck. Then the double contests happened and I never had time to work past the block. However, now I have devised a new way to get past the block; write an entirely different plot! INGENIOUS! No, in actuality I just thought up a better, more sequel-suitable plot that I decided to stick with. However, the old plot is not dead, it will be a third story to the series, that is if I decide to write it. i could finish the sequel and say 'screw it, I'm done' but I'll probably end up writing it. So the story line will be a full trilogy! YAY.
The new plot needs a new name, so I can't give you that to run wild with in your imaginations, but what i can tell you is that it was partially inspired by Doctor Who.
On a semi-related topic, I hadn't watched Doctor Who until three days ago when a friend loaned me season one. As of now, I am more then half way through season two and I am unsure of how I lived so long without having seen it.
Anyway, back on topic, the sequel is still planned to be out before the end of the month, even with this minor set back (actually a really, really minor set back, I was only ~1000 words into the other storyline).
Now, I'm off to finish season two of Doctor Who... and maybe start writing the new story line.... maybe....
