Well, it's Autumn again, and that means one thing: I flip out every other day. Why?
This place has a cockroach infestation, and I am deathly afraid of them.
I have a healthy fear of spiders, snakes, scorpions, etc. You'd have to be an idiot not to. When I see them, I act cautiously, and of it's something easily killed, I do so.
But not with cockroaches. I can't get within a few feet of a still-living roach without freaking out. I don't know why, I just can't deal with roaches. At all.
I had to get a squirt gun and fill it with water and bleach to deal with them. I can't go anywhere near them, and this allows me to dispatch them at range. (I originally used some old antibiotic spray from around 20+ years ago that long since went bad. It worked wonders, but I ran out pretty quickly.)
Once they're dead, I scoop them into a cup with a flyswatter and throw the cup away completely.
Yeah, I have problems.
Anyway, anyone else have an irrational fear or phobia?
I'm scared of Blue Jays. Those blue bastards are stalking me, I saw five just on the drive to school! Three at my house!
