Dear Silver Quill, It's not about ego, it's about the Elements of Harmony.

For a while now, something very obvious has seemed to escape the Brony Analysis Community, and it seems to have come to a head with this latest season finale. Toon Krytic Y2K was salty because Starlight Glimmer wasn't punished, and Silver Quill was a bit put out by the Mane Six being so critical to Equestria. He was annoyed by the ego that Twilight had about her friends being so important.

Today's episode. WHAT THE FREAK?! Mind. Blown. Seriously. BLOWN!

Friendship Games. Oh My God, Friendship Games

This has to be the BEST Equestria Girls Movie, yet. The plot was interesting, the characters were well done and funny. The antagonist, Principal Cinch, was hateable to the degree of UMBRIDGE. My GOD, that WOMAN! She... is that world's Umbridge... She really really is.

And... Trenderhoof, and Fleur at Crystal Prep? Did you see 'em, too?

And that post credits ending, yo. Hilarious!

    Season 5 Opener

I have to say it wasn't bad.

The map was a unique addition, and the village of the Stepford Smilers was rather unique local.

And we may have a vision of what would have happened if Twilight Sparkle a. tried to make friends and had it go wrong, and b. went totally evil. But this Starlight Glimmer didn't seem to have Twilight's social awkwardness...

    Recurring villain, anybody?

    Canterlot High Chronicles

If you've been keeping up with my stories, you'll have probably noticed that I've canceled the Canterlot High Chronicles. One: I feel like it is not, really my story as such. It's not one that focuses on Sour Grapes and the Storm Riders, but instead Private Eye, and Twilight Sparkle, and all the humanized versions of Jacoby1's characters, and their relationships. Two: With the release

Pony-fied names for human celebrities. · 5:26am Apr 5th, 2012

I wonder why nobody's used name meanings as a way to do it. True it makes for a riddle, and one has to choose which meaning would work best, but that's part of the fun. For example I've turned two authors of Vampire fiction into Ponies by the name of Gracious Ardor, and Crown Superior. One is considered the mother of modern gothic fiction, and the other is considered a hack.

Can you guess?

Anne Rice and Stephanie Meyer?

I've done it a couple of times in my fic - examples being Immortal Bard, Prince Soul and Ginger Feathers. I usually use nicknames or whatever I can to work them in.

60292 Awesome you guessed. Heh, even Bella Swan ends up with a strangely fitting, for Meyer's vision of her. "Beautiful Purity". :P

Got to wonder why a Pony Parent would name their foal "Immortal Bard" though...

Maybe their first words were "But soft! Mine eyes have at last gazed on life's sweet stage! Oh dearest fates, thou hast given me a part in your never-ending saga, and I lay humbled by thy generosity!"

60650 That's quite a mouthful for a little pony. :rainbowlaugh:
