Dear Silver Quill, It's not about ego, it's about the Elements of Harmony.

For a while now, something very obvious has seemed to escape the Brony Analysis Community, and it seems to have come to a head with this latest season finale. Toon Krytic Y2K was salty because Starlight Glimmer wasn't punished, and Silver Quill was a bit put out by the Mane Six being so critical to Equestria. He was annoyed by the ego that Twilight had about her friends being so important.

Friendship Games. Oh My God, Friendship Games

This has to be the BEST Equestria Girls Movie, yet. The plot was interesting, the characters were well done and funny. The antagonist, Principal Cinch, was hateable to the degree of UMBRIDGE. My GOD, that WOMAN! She... is that world's Umbridge... She really really is.

And... Trenderhoof, and Fleur at Crystal Prep? Did you see 'em, too?

And that post credits ending, yo. Hilarious!

    Season 5 Opener

I have to say it wasn't bad.

The map was a unique addition, and the village of the Stepford Smilers was rather unique local.

And we may have a vision of what would have happened if Twilight Sparkle a. tried to make friends and had it go wrong, and b. went totally evil. But this Starlight Glimmer didn't seem to have Twilight's social awkwardness...

    Recurring villain, anybody?

    Canterlot High Chronicles

If you've been keeping up with my stories, you'll have probably noticed that I've canceled the Canterlot High Chronicles. One: I feel like it is not, really my story as such. It's not one that focuses on Sour Grapes and the Storm Riders, but instead Private Eye, and Twilight Sparkle, and all the humanized versions of Jacoby1's characters, and their relationships. Two: With the release

Fluttershy, when have tweets ever made sense? *snerk*

There is a SPELL to take away one's Cutie Mark?! That's... kinda scary.

It's not the romving that is scary, ti's the fact that afterwards she gave them a new cutie mark which is supposed to be impossible. Would have been rather handy as a punishment though for unicorns like Sombra since it suppresses everything about them including their magic.

Still kinda scary, if you think about it.

I'm surprised Twilight didn't attempt to arrest her, or order her arrest, or sent a message to Canterlot to issue an arrest warrant.

Still, you'd THINK that an alicorn would be more powerful than a unicorn. How was Starlight able to overcome Twilight's magic and tear off her cutie mark?

.........unless....

Recalling the video game "Street Fighter", each character has a super move/attack.

However, when performing that move, that's when the character is most vulnerable, since all of his/her defenses are down, and everything is geared toward attacking, not defending...

Hmm...maybe Starlight's attack hit Twilight's horn right when she was casting her spell, and that's why her magic failed...

2945237 You make a good point. That shouldn't have worked.

2945221 I have to wonder now though... Would it actually IMPROVE a pony's skills if they are worse than everyone else or would it drag everyone else down to that now level? Second way to defeat the new enemy, bring in Sweetie Belle and watch as all the food becomes charcoal. :unsuresweetie:
