Today, RBDash47 posted my Pony Fiction Vault interview to FIMFiction. The surge in readers made Friendship is Optimal one of the elite fics on this site, if only for a moment:

On a more serious note, I just want to take a moment and thank everyone for their support. I hope that you enjoyed reading Friendship is Optimal, and that it made you think about possibilities you might not have otherwise considered.
"Friendship is Optimal" is the work that introduced me to MLP. I read about it on Less Wrong, read it, then searched around for other interesting stuff and discovered "Fallout: Equestria", and only then went to watch the show, becoming a fan. Thus in quite a direct way you and your fanfic are the reason I'm nowadays a fan of the show. Thank you very, very much!

The show isn't even that great.
It's definitely thought provoking, even as someone familiar with many of the concepts introduced in FiO. There were several things I learnt about while reading however, and that was definitely a pleasant surprise.
It's also quite an interesting fictional universe, which makes it all the more unfortunate that most of the stories written by others don't compare to the quality of the original. But then, writing such a story is not the easiest of tasks.

Indeed and I very much thank you for sharing your ideas with all of us Iceman. It definitly expanded my mind in the areas of what an AI might be like, that and it has made me reavaluate my perceptions of them and for that I thank you.
You made me realize that maybe fictional AI's such as GLaDOS, SHODAN, and Hal 3000 are not exactly the best basis in which to judge what the actual reality of such an entity would be like.
That said I was wondering if I could speak to you on a matter concerning your creation Celest-AI namely I am currently working on a story based in the Optimalverse that explores a certain what if scenario but in light of what you said in the interview I'm not sure if it will work or not and I was wondering if I could ask you about.

Well that might be that most aren't up to the same standard, but at the very least those stories do further explore that universe.

FiO is one of the most enjoyable reads on the site, and while I was late to the game in reading it, it kept me involved and wanting to keep on reading it. Very few stories have really enthralled me to such an extent. You did an excellent job on it and should be very proud of your work. I would love to ask for an 'encore' but the current story is more than enough.
The main problem with fics like this is that if an AI is ever created, it might read them and get bad ideas.
If any single being replases "42" it will be wankershim, not celestAI.

I was the one who submitted Friendship is Optimal to the vault for review, so I am pretty glad to heard that it made it. Looks like I sent it just in time, too, what with the vault shutting down and all.
