    Author Recomendation: Thyrai

Thyrai was one of the first fimfiction writers I had the privilege of reading, and was one of the very first authors I started following. After getting into the show for the first time, accepting the label of brony, I stumbled across this site. I, of course, being a lover of sadfics immediately HAD to filter all stories to show only Sad in the

    Rant: Sword Art Online

Okay, so my Sword Art Online review from before was a little negative and perhaps more than a little biased. Let's rebreak Sword Art Online down.

I review and love anime based on three key aspects: Quality, Story, and Characters. Quality is not sarcastic QUALITY; it falls under animation, art, sound, everything that a good anime should have.

First off, doesn't the title mean "afraid of horses" or something like that? Is this the tie in with one of your OCs... Jamie, if I recall correctly?

Story: Equinophobia
By: Apple Dictionary

First off, doesn't the title mean "afraid of horses" or something like that? Is this the tie in with one of your OCs... Jamie, if I recall correctly?

*sighs* First of all, if you're going to make OCs in a story, put the effort into it by giving them a name that fits. Honestly, Jamie... are you serious? And... oh god, Ansikt Veksler. Ansikt Veksler. I literally think my mind committed suicide at that name. I'm grateful you helpfully provided a pronunciation... after I pointed out how difficult it was.

Plot: Little. The concept is... nothing new, (see The End of Ponies for a much better spin) and you also basically thrust us straight into the story without any buildup. Not only have I not had the time to get re-emotionally acquainted with the Six, but I also have no idea when this takes place on the timeline. I'd assume during Season 3, but at this point I honestly don't know.
Grammar: Passable, but you DO have some patchy errors. I must recommend a beta reader of at least fairly high grammar. Your eyes won't die reading this, I assure you.
Interest: Little. See Plot.

The only fact that saves this from getting lower is the fact that you're doing an "end of days" story, which is rather rare in our archives. It's certainly unusual, but it's certainly not "anything new", like it states in the story description.
