To be honest, I've already written two chapters of this idea, but before I post it, I want to know if you guys would find this interesting. It's a HiE fic, but the human is turned into a species of my own that is from my game Kyrodian Legends. Here's some pics:

So shacklebolt's story but with this instead of a changeling? I'd be interested. I'd probably be interested anyway.
Publish it. It can't promise I'll read it, as I'm kinda busy and don't have the most stable internet connection, but I don't really see a reason for you not to just put it out there if you've already written the first 2 chapters.

Actually, no, I'm not using Shacklebolt. In fact, I doubt I'd be able to put him in Equestria without either spoiling the ending of his game or making it totally uninteresting.
