I'm going to be needing a break for a bit I think. Something happened today that really kicked me in the ballocs and killed my usual chipper mood. Since I'm sure most of you who'll read this will wonder just what it is that happened, my girlfriend decided to give me the "We should be friends" spheel today, and while I'm ok with that on one level, it still hurts and I've lost the motivation to do much of anything aside from read for a little while. Now I snap back from things like this pretty quick, and with a vengeance, but until I do, its likely that you won't see any updates from me. If I write anything in the near future it will most likely be a bit of a gore-fest or something kinda grim-dark. Say what you will, but better I work out my misplaced aggressions and frustrations in written word than on the object of them currently. It was a clean parting, but with my track record as far as decent relationships go... Lets leave it at that. (No I'm not saying I'm a bad boy-friend or something like that, just that I have horrid luck in the game of love. My first long term relationship ended with my partner cheating on me for a week before calling it off and having the audacity to give me a "lets be friends" Lets just say I was not happy when I found out about the cheating bullshit.)
TL;DR: Parable needs a break to deal with some personal issues and will return when he has done so, and he shall come bearing more writings.
