    I'm Sorry

Taking this shit down, it's time to die.

RIP in peace, my fanfic, sorry I couldn't finish you. Also sorry that you sucked so much.
At least it was (kind of) funny.

    The Lego Movie

I recently had the distinct pleasure of watching The LEGO Movie. It was a bit of an odd experience, being the only person in the theatre that wasn't a child or a parent, but you know what? That's fine.

    Best Birthday Ever

While it has passed midnight, my computer has picked the worst day to flip out again.
I need to throw this blasted thing away soon. (On tablet.)

    Make a Wish

    It's my birthday.
No, I won't link the song, because I don't like the song.

My Thoughts On Season Four Thus Far

    *OBLIGATORY SPOILER WARNING*
Season four has been pretty good overall, certainly better than season three, which, I will be frank, I didn't particularly like. I absolutely despised Equestria Girls, and every time I hear a positive review, I am inclined to write a strongly worded letter to the reviewer in all caps explaining why the movie was bad and why they should feel bad for liking it.

Bolero, Machine and Might, and Monster's Uni · 3:21am Jul 18th, 2013

So yeah, over the last week I have:
Read Machine and Might
Listened to the Entirety of Bolero and
Watched Monster's University

So, Bolero first, and an explanation as to why I haven't listened to it until now.
Bolero is Maurice Ravel's best known work. I didn't listen to it for the longest time because two minutes in, I thought it horribly tedious.
So I forced myself to listen to it in it's entirety driving to my uncles because I hate myself and want to die.
Two words:
NEVER. AGAIN.
The impression I got from the first two minutes was unnervingly accurate. It saddens me that this is Ravel's best know work, it really does.
That being said, I don't really listen to him, so make of that what you will.

Next up, Machine and Might.
Eh, not bad. Basically sums the entire thing up.
I was a little perturbed by the portrayal of humans as semi-Proud Warrior Race guys, and the fact that every country is socially backwards, but hey, can't win them all.
So my main gripe with the story is ideological. That's really about it. I don't know if the author follows this ideology, or if it just sort of seemed to fit or furthered the plot, but you'd think that one-thousand years in the future, we wouldn't have mandatory conscription males only.
And all conscripts get genetic alterations, too.
Though that isn't really morally reprehensible, except the fact that it's mandatory, too. (Explanation: Transhumanism is one my "I couldn't care less" issues, so meh.)
Onwards to cheerier thoughts, I suppose.

It's clear to me now that Pixar has lost it's touch. I didn't watch Cars 2, Brave was good, but not Pixar good, and Monster's Uni is...
Good, but not Pixar good.
I await the inevitable suckyness of Planes, and I'm sad that Incredibles 2 is pushed back.
That movie did wife tossing before it was cool.
Although Up has a special place in my heart for making me bawl like a baby within the first ten minutes.

So, I have an inevitably unanswered question for you:
What did you think of the above works? And: What is Best Pixar Movie?
