1204610 Oh, don't get me wrong, Caramel/Twilight and Twilight/Rainbow fics are still great. But canon ships simply must be addressed so the mushy side of me can be satisfied.
1204619 At least the entire concept of TwiDash and such other fics pre-date this canon ship. Had it not, then the only fics we'd have would be like with Shining and Cadence.
1204619 Also, why is it that both Twilight's brother and her crush happen to both be royal guards? Does that open up question as to Twilight's view on her brother and explain her immediate hostility to Cadance even before it was revealed? I'm scared now. Perhaps the whole "Winter's Child" concept isn't entirely groundless...
