It's been a year… · 8:56pm Jul 10th, 2013
Well. It's certainly been an awful long time since I last posted one of these. It's funny, how I always had something to talk about every few days…
The reason I post this today is because today is when I guess (I'm unsure of the exact date, unfortunately) I first watched MLP. I can't believe an entire year has passed by since that fateful day.
First of all, I'd like to apologise to predator20, as I, despite "working on" a fanfiction idea for several months, have yet to even finish the first chapter for him to properly edit*. You don't appear to have lost patience with me either, so for that I thank you.
*Then again, whether you actually want to edit anything is a different story.
As it turns out, over the year I've ended up trying my hand at several things which this fandom most certainly proves it's ability in. This ranges from attempting to write, which included:
• A horribly clichéd HiE which none of you (as far as I'm aware) know too much about
• A one-shot in which Angel died
• A one-shot in which Granny Smith died (remind me not to try to write about death again)
• An HiE which was never taken into much despite my numerous (failed) attempts at making someone wake up realistically in the Canterlot Sewer System
• An ex-one-shot (it has since been expanded into a much longer story idea) in which [DATA EXPUNGED]**
• A one-shot which predator doesn't know about yet (ignorance is bliss, believe me)
**Classified information known to only four individuals.
Moving on, I tried at art too. It's going okay at the moment, I suppose. Frankly I'm probably better suited to art than fanfiction, but I shall persevere. My…previous artwork…should still be where it was on blog posts before this one, so feel free to start having nightmares again refresh your memory at some point. If not, here are my finest complete works which were done long ago.
A Scottish guy here's friend, Sean, asked me to draw a quite literal picture of the Dalai Llama. This was my response.
It was for his new Youtube channel; it's going to be video game Let's Plays and similar, so when he gets stuff up, go give him a try.
Meanwhile, I took the liberty to draw up a few sketches of ponies and stuff.
Applejack doesn't get enough love.
Anyway, you can find more on the scrapbook section of my deviantART account.
As for music? It's not like I have a recording studio. I'm more of a listener than a composer anyway. I enjoy hearing things like Lullaby for a Princess, Great to be Different and The Moon Rises, then working out how to play the notes on acoustic guitar for no purpose other than entertaining the aforementioned Scottish guys on Skype and for my own recreation.
Other things have happened too. Here's a short list of my favourites.
• I joined a group chat full of Northern Irish bronies on Skype, who I talk with quite often
• Keepcalmandcupcakes and I discovered the wonders of Pony Hypnosis
• Balthasar999 started watching me on Fimfiction
• I discovered the fanfic 'Five Score, Divided by Four'
• I met a few bronies who weren't SapphireBlitz at school
• I am being drawn this already amazing drawing of Thoughtful Mind by StrawberryShrapnel on UK of Equestria
Oh, and not to mention this.
That still means a lot to me. I'll have to make sure that thing I'm doing for you is truly spectacular.
So after a year, all that has happened. Drop a comment to let me know you haven't died without my permission during my blog posting absence. Dang I miss those days…
First comment! Um, hey. Will edit later for more content and stuff.
Gosh I feel like Flutters today...
So anyway, thanks for mentioning me in your year anniversary blog post! It has been a year hasn't it? Well, only like five months I've know you but still, a pretty long time I reckon. There's been alot that's happened since that day, high's and low's and everything in between. Well, can I really say that? When's the last time we've ever actually been upset with each other? Was that ever even a thing?
I am quickly running out of things to say...
Oh well! I'll end in this. You're a true friend, no matter the fact that the relationship exists only on the internet. I've built a trust in you that exists in no one else, and said things in our Skype chats I'd drop dead rather than to repeat to anyone else. What I've had with the Thoughtful is a stronger friendship than I have than with a lot of my irl friends. I might have spaghetti running down my pockets spilling my feels all over the place in this post, but I ain't regretting it.
God bless you, in all your dreams and ambitions. I couldn't care less that your an agnostic, I'll say that anyway.
- the super gay (happy) right now, Keepcalmandcupcakes
YEAH. A whole year...well congratulations mate. And I hope your time in the herd has been awesome so far.
Woh! I TOTALLY forgot that you existed! Jk
Still better at drawing than me.
Five Score, Divided by Four is friggin' superrificawesomeazing, so much that i'm afraid to read more because i'll have to wait for updates and i'm scared of what happens next.
I was missing your blogs I was, hope you had a good year, I know I did, I'M MUCH MORE MOTIVATED, AND I'M BECOMING A SICK KUNT!
