Imagine my surprise when I came home at ~11.30pm after what was essentially a completely chock-full day, only to discover that the earlier-seen 502s would lead up to this. It somewhat annoys me that there is currently no visible way of reaching the desktop site when using my iPod(s), because the mobile site now loads by default on them. While [the mobile site] has been improved beyond measure, there's still the niggle of less choice of doing on my more portable devices. Thank goodness my iPad still supports the desktop version.
But enough of my rambling! What are your thoughts?

My ipod has to wait for a minute every few lines when reading stories, so that kinda sucks...other than that, the new system for notifications is rather confusing. But then, I am allergic to change, as it disrupts my routines.

Remember back to the entry of Fimfiction 2.5? We were all weirded out. Now, just a month or two later, I can hardly remember what it used to be like. Which, I'll admit, is kind of freaky.
I'm pretty sure the devs here will gradually iron out all the little niggling creases over the next couple of weeks.
Speaking of which, 16-day Easter holidays beginning at noon next Friday. I'm going to cherish it. And the summer. Probably more than ever before. Mainly because I now have a motive.

I am a great believer in brevity, I'll have you know. Not from any lack of interest or effort, I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear.
Although now that you mention it, I had meant to address a little more in my reply...
I too cannot remember what the old Fimfiction was like...although forgetting things like that isn't exactly unusal for me. And aside from what I mentioned, I haven't noticed any major imperfections, aside from the oft aformentioned notifications. I still think haven't two different types of notifications is overcomplicating things a bit.
And your mentioning of the Easter holidays reminds me: I have no idea when my school breaks up for Easter...Oh well. I'm sure I'll find out sooner or later. Probably later, knowing me, but still.
And by all means, tell me more about this compilation of information that you are composing, it sounds intriguing.

The document, by whatever means I shall write it in, will contain various information on the education system (among other things) of the United Kingdom, Northern Irish customs and events, general UK-y trivia and perhaps even some personal info about me. In fact, that just gave me an idea.
Please feel free to submit any questions regarding my personal life; they will be taken into consideration for the writing of the document and will probably be given a serious answer, provided they don't violate what I consider particularly classified.

Out of curiosity, what do you consider "normal" notifications, then? I would always have said comments (which are social) play a pretty big part here.
Time zones again? Surely the weekends and school holidays are much better, though? I did the calculations; you're actually only four hours behind me. On specific days, you could be up at the same time as me for as long as...10 hours, maybe?
