Lunaguy

From the depths of /mlp/, one man decided that he wanted to write. With a sweep of his pen, stories flowed from his hands like liquid gold, and his genius shined. And then there was also Lunaguy.

    SERIOUSLY, NOT DEAD

IGNORE THE FACT THAT I WAS DECEASED FOR A FEW MONTHS THERE, I MEAN IT THIS TIME
    (I DON'T ACTUALLY MEAN IT)

Regardless, I should be pretty straight here. No, In Search of Mother is not abandoned. It's not on haitus either. It's taking turns with my time just like everything else in my life is.

    Out of town

ISoM was supposed to update this Friday, but due to multiple inconveniences it probably won't arrive for another week or so.
    Sorry for the continued delay.

The woes of a whiny author

    Can I like
take all the reads and likes from My Little Human
    and then just like
switch them with In Search of Mother

Because, let's face it. My Little Human might be funny, but it's hardly GOOD. In like, an artistic/literary sense. It's got jokez. It's got hoomor. I get it.
    But really.

Equestria Girls Redux · 10:58am Jun 26th, 2013

So I saw Equestria Girls.

And honestly, I thought it was pretty good.

Both Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were cuter as humans than they are as ponies (which I didn't think would be possible) and the scene where Twilight gives Spike a bellyrub kind of stopped my heart.

Then my heart legitimately stopped beating when I saw Principal Celestia and Principal Luna because dear lord they were terrifying seriously did no one look at those designs and think "WELL GEE JIM WE APPEARING TO BE DRIVING STRAIGHT INTO THE UNCANNY VALLEY."

Upsides:
-Twilight being adorkable with wings (before she turned human).
-Spike was really chill throughout the whole thing and even though I seriously didn't like him before, after this movie he's my bro.
-Pinkie Pie was still incredibly Pinkie Pie, even with hands. And is pretty much confirmed psychic now so gypsy bard is now canon.
-Plenty of nods to the fandom.
-Trixie eats peanut butter crackers.
-Seriously I'm not joking Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were the most adorable things I've ever seen on a screen in my life.
-Sunset Shimmer turned into a demon. Like, seriously. She turned red, grew evil bat wings and then made an army of zombie slaves.

Downsides:
-Shipping with Brad McMusclebeach was extremely forced. If they had taken more time on it, I wouldn't have minded, but as it was it was just ridiculous.
-No Lyra jokes.
-Like seriously there were no Lyra jokes.
-How the fuck do you make a movie about humanized ponies that is an hour and a half long and not even have a single Lyra joke. Moreover, Lyra isn't even IN the fucking movie at any point.

So I really did enjoy it, though. All things considered, I give it a No Lyra Jokes/10 SERIOUSLY HOW WAS THERE NOT A SINGLE LYRA JOKE

I see your no Lyra jokes and raise you Derpy dancing with a muffin in the credits. :derpytongue2:

An unforgivable oversight.

... ... ... nnnnNNNGgg~, now-I-have-to-see-it-just-for-that-part. My favorite pony.

I think i laughed twice, and none of them were brony jokes. I agree with you about Spike, he really came through in this movie. Also, RD is best human
