    Sunset Shimmer is the worst damn villain ever.
    Seriously.
    I have taken dumps that were better villains than Sunset Shimmer. They took Diamond Tiara and removed all the things that make Diamond Tiara entertaining, and then in the last ten minutes they stuck on Nightmare Moon only without all the things that make Nightmare Moon sympathetic.

    Now that people have seen it, it seems like it's gonna be roughly on par with your average season opener/closer two-parter only an hour long. I still think it has no business being a theatrical release, but at least it's apparently not awful? I'm reserving judgment until it's leaked onto the net in its entirety. 1169274 I'll prolly post more about it tomorrow but jesus christ was it disappointing. I will say this; Sunset Shimmer was an absolutely terrible villain and, out of everything, I think she's what has me disappointed most.
