I thought it might be a good idea to post another blog thingy, mainly to announce that the rumors of my demise were exagerated.
I've just been busy and life hasn't been kind either. Work has been awful too, as we've started to use a new system and that has been causing me a lot of stress. Not just me though, one guy at work actually got an ulcer because of it.
Anyhow, the new parts for Mirror's Image are done and are being edited as we speak, write, read... whatever. And by parts I mean, Chapter 16 part 1 and 2. Together they're about 25,000 words...
BTW, should I start making regular blog posts, to keep you informed on the status of the story? Let me know and sorry it's been so long since the last chapter!

Don't sweat it, we're all used to long waits between chapters, and I for one have just learned how 'easy' it is to regularly update a story. That said, regular blogs are indeed a fine idea.
Why, pray tell, are you writing as if 25k words was something bad?
And about informing, only if you want. I understand the need to please us but if you are going to force yourself, don't! The worst thing you can do, unless you are the type of person that needs that kind of motivation. Different people out there after all.
And I can wait. A lot! Your story is one of my Top Favourites and The Top Favourite of all Changeling stories. For this I can wait years.
Just, you know, don't take that statement as any kind of hint, okay?

But seriously, that would be a bit much lol. And about the 25k thing, let's just say that my story up until now is about 125k. One chapter has as many words as a fifth of the entire story

Though I do understand the notion. Somehow I managed to forget that it's a relatively short story. That might create mixed emotions, alright.
And I would wait a few years... provided you would deliver a few years' worth of writing!
