So, I'm not usually in the habit of doing this, but a good author knows when a story is leading him in a direction that he didn't plan on taking it and that he should adjust accordingly. Well, you all know how the first chapter of that story ended, but I've done a bit of talking with Chengar and decided that I didn't like where it was going. I realized that I couldn't support the direction it was headed, so I decided to take it into a new direction. Yes, the story tone is going to be a lot different (I changed the "comedy" tag to a "sad" one) and I know that some of you might not like that.
Having said that, it would be unfair of me to give you a story that I wasn't completely happy with. Fans of Princess Celestia Gets Mugged will know that I did something similar there when I didn't like where it was going. I hope you aren't too put out. Do know that I am trying to get you the best story that I can, and the storyline that I was going to use just wasn't strong enough.
I hope you understand and I'm sorry that I didn't get it right the first time. I've cut out the surprise part at the end of the first chapter, but it's pretty much the same after that. Do trust that the storyline that I have planned is hopefully just as good. I want to get you guys great stories!

1136828 I have severe writer's block for that story. I'm 1,500 words into the third chapter, and have no idea how to get it to flow naturally.
Well, if authors aren't happy with the way something is turning out, I guess it's preferable to realise that early on rather than 10 chapters in. Plus I don't think an author can produce their best work unless they're fully behind what's happening; forced writing tends to show very quickly.
As I gave it a look because it was a TD story, the loss of the comedy tag doesn't bother me much and I'll still be interested to see where it goes.

1137257 At no point do TD or Cloud Kicker have any physical relationship. I do not, nor will I ever, write sex. In fact she doesn't even really try to seduce him once he makes it clear that he would be adverse to the idea. The story is about their strictly platonic friendship.

1137270 I do hope you don't look down your nose at such things. I know there is a trace of that in my authorship of the Killer-Rarityverse. Not that I imagine you care, but I toned down so much of the gore for that story that I was able to move the rating down to Teen.

I'm not being condescending. I just really really dislike the Winningverse. Because I genuinely think it's bad. And because it has infected with it's inane flagship characters so many other fics I like that have nothing to do with it. Including your first Non-Brony story.
Gore is not really an issue for me. I mean I don't like seeing ponies hurting but if it's a good story gore won't stop me.
I just don't care for character defilement.
Trust in the author to bring the entertainment. It's like trusting a fashionista to make your clothes. They know what they're doing. I shall read this updated story and await its next update!
