It's about that time: YOU get to decide who fights in the epic smackdown to come. Remember this line from the last chapter?
Twilight was silent for the longest time. I wasn’t certain what Pinkie meant. Was she going to die soon? Was she poisoned? I had yet to understand the true nature of Pinkie’s unique abilities. Twilight was smart and mentally cataloged the incident for later, but I had dismissed it. If only I had known the horror she had just predicted, the spilled blood painting the ground in a morbid canvas. If only I, or any of us in that small town, had known what beast was coming for us with its mind set on murder.
...I am sorry for that. As always, I write in this journal after events have taken place. Something... bad happens soon after these events. Something terrible, and I regret not being able to stop it.
Something bad is coming, and we all know that Era'doth is stomping down from Canterlot and hunting for blood. Pretty much all of you, or at least those moderately familiar with Minecraft lore, know who this guy is. I'm doing everything I can to make him a credible threat, but I had forgotten a simple fact. He's from a game. Games have levels. Games have boss battles.
I need a boss battle.
YOU get to decide who fights him. Whether he wins or loses is up to me. I will modify the story accordingly based on who wins this poll. Some ponies can't because I have them in other engagements, but the rest are for you to choose. Who will fight Era'doth?
Below are several posts. Thumb up whoever you want to fight. I may make it two or three against one. It depends on what strikes me when the time comes. Who will fight? Who will win? Who will end up bleeding on the floor?

if it were any other Steve other than yours i would have liked to have seen him in the fight. as it stands i have to say i do NOT want to see the miner in this fight.

second point, i definitely do not thing the elements of harmony are suitable for this fight, due to their combat ineffectiveness(i cant see Era'doth making discord's mistake)

Not quite. I'm publishing only those that are capable of fighting in the situation I have set up. Fluttershy and Twilight are not in the poll because the way the battle will begin and progress will have them otherwise occupied. Or perhaps they are already in the fight. I can't and won't say. Everyone else has a role to play.
It's not about who you think will win or lose, it's about who you want to fight him. If you think Applejack might make for a good fight, vote for her. Pinkie? Vote for her.

For you two, and for everyone else, here's my general head canon and what I will be imploying when Era'doth finally does pick a fight. The ponies can take care of themselves. Just because the ponies are peaceful doesn't mean they are pushovers. They've had to beat down every single horror, monster and cosmic threat in order to simple survive. Ponies live right next to the Everfree Forest, a death trap if I ever saw one. These ponies are badasses, they just take it so in stride, you never notice.
