A Job, a Girl, and Horrorclix too! (Oh yeah, and a name change)

Well, it's been a bit, huh? About two months if my math's right. From what I can tell, not too much has changed, has it? (Other than the format changes) Quite a lot's changed for me, at least. If the title hasn't clued you in enough, I managed to somehow landed a job loading boxes and shit like that; nothing too exciting, but it's pay so I'll take overtime if necessary. Turns out, having your own

    Just. Write.

My friend likes to say to me "You think too much, man.". And you know what? I agree with him wholeheartedly.

    Tranquility: Myth

You know, I always thought that when people talked about life moving too fast, I always thought that they were just being cliche and over exaggerating a few points. But lately, I can say that life tries to follow Pinkie Pie's example when it wants to slow down!

A Job, a Girl, and Horrorclix too! (Oh yeah, and a name change) · 1:17am Jun 4th, 2013

Turns out, having your own money that you can spend without feeling bad at all or worrying about paying back is pretty damn nice.

I also found this chick that actually likes me! Who'da thought? She's pretty nice, quiet, a bit shy, but really funny and fun to be around when she's comfortable. She also like to read, Harry Potter and stuff like that, but still, I actually showed her show of my more 'mainstream' work, and she actually digs it. Some of it, at least. All in all, it's at least nice to finally have a girl. Not that I'm saying she's not perfect, because damn I do not deserve her! Hell, no other dude in my entire school deserves her! Literally I just can't stop thinking about her and that cute little smile. Damn! It's a bit much for me, really. She loves literature of all sorts, she's nice and creative, she's artistic, she's the perfect girl, really. I couldn't ask for anything more, and I'm saying thanks every minute I'm alive that I have her! Also she has a HUGE rack, but that's secondary, really. It's that smile, man. It's that damn smile...

Alongside my small-time job and my complete blessing from the heavens, I also got myself a neat little hobby, Horrorclix. It was a pretty obscure little tabletop game about creating a team of monsters, vampires and occult horrors so that you could go and battle it out with Killer Leprechauns and Failed Lab Experiments led by the Headless Horseman and Rasputin. When I was younger, I bought a bunch of booster packs just 'cause they all those figurines looked so damn cool, and re-discovered them while I was cleaning out my closet a couple weeks back. Ever since then I've been hooking all my friends, and a couple of blokes from Board Game Club, onto this neat little game. One of my friends even tried creating his own mob modeled after Slender Man by modding a couple of the less popular pieces of mine together. Didn't turn out so well, but we all still remind him of his "accomplishment" every game we play.

Beyond that, family life's still in the shitter as my mom gets more and more discontent and dissatisfied with everything around her, and my dad just says "Just take it for two more years, man. Then you can move across the damn country, if you want!". Maybe he's right; two more years of taking shit for a lifetime of not taking as much shit isn't too damn bad, but she's still a bitch.

So yeah. I'm back. Hopefully things won't turn out so bad in the end, but we'll never be sure, will we? All you can do is smile and whistle a jaunty tune. It'll at least make getting shit thrown in your face somewhat bearable. Somewhat.

As Nanny used to say: "Peace and Love, man. Peace and Love." It's a goal. Granted, it might never be achieved, but it's nice to put on a resume.

Peace.

Glad to see (Read?) that you're OK man. After that long absence, I was getting worried!

Now that your personal life is getting back on track, for the most part it seems, maybe we can finally have a nice chat without life busting in, punching your face in with a lemon and screaming "NO" right before diving out your bedroom window, but let's face it, IT'S GONNA DO THAT ANYWAY! :facehoof:

Sorry, sorry.....just finished watching a random movie and the random has not left my body yet.

Later man, unless you respond to this comment and we have an epic comment war for some reason.
