It seems I'm not capable of writing a bio without sounding really pretentious, so I'll keep it simple.I write pony-fanfiction. That is all.

Help me write an academic paper?

It's been quite some time since I posted a story/blog, so I'm not sure how many of you are still out there, but I need your help.

Many of you know that I'm currently an undergraduate student. At the moment, I'm conducting some rather intensive sociological research, and it just so happens to heavily involve brony issues and demographics.

    A Little Non-Pony Fiction Fun

Well, it's been a long damn time, ain't it?

It seems like years since I wrote anything for the fandom (because it has been!); I've (unfortunately) been busy doing non-pony-related things, but I did crap out an out-of-fandom short story a few days ago that I thought I would share for you guys for old times sake and for giggles.

    Community emergency - read immediately

If there are any of you that follow me that haven't heard about this yet (I just learned about it today), one of the herd is in serious danger. Michael Marones recently attempted suicide after endless bullying over his interest in Friendship is Magic. Like a lot of us here, he's a relentlessly dedicated pony. Being ADHD, he

I Might Have Been: Do you want a reading? · 4:36am Mar 26th, 2012

Well, here I am again, shamelessly abusing the fact that you all tracked my story.

Over the last few days, I've considered doing a reading of I Might Have Been on Youtube. However, before I do, I want to know if enough of you would listen to it to make the effort worthwhile.

So, I need your voices again: tell me, would you listen to a reading of this story if I did one? If the response is strong enough, I would be happy to oblige.

Why did you post this twice? :rainbowhuh: Whatever. I shall comment on both! Again, I speak for four others and myself when I say that we would all appreciate a reading of I Might Have Been. I would listen to it every fucking day!! :flutterrage:

three words... yes
1 2 3

Reading? Yes Please!

I won't listen to a reading, but if you want to do it, go for it

Odd double posting but whatever. I would watch/listen.

I'd listen to it.

45011 Death Brony I swear I recognise you from somewhere. I think someone elses blog posts or stories. Not sure :rainbowderp:

I most definitely would not. And I don't say this just to stand out. :raritywink:

You see, when you... OK, I can only speak for myself, so when I read, my imagination paints the scene and characters before my eyes, it fills my ears with sounds and voices of the characters. The words you use are like a bare material, that you shape into a masterpiece, but, as with every other form of art, the final outcome is also altered by how the story gets processed in my mind. And I won't deny it, "I Might Have Been" was so beautiful and touching it nearly ripped my heart from my chest. I couldn't stand to have the memory of this feeling cheapened by having it read by anyone else. When someone else read it, I simply couldn't feel like it were the characters actually speaking. You would, with your voice, try to force your own emotions into my perception of the world you created. And just no matter how hard you tried, I'm afraid it wouldn't be the same - the integrity of the vision you painted with words would simply break.

Of course, your entitled to do as you wish with your story. There seems to be a strong demand for the reading, judging from the comments above. :twilightsheepish: So, by all means, do as you see fit.

45049 Maybe. I can't say I recognize you though. :derpyderp2:

I read the story and cried my eyes out, so I might listen to it if im in that kind of mood, but count me as a no for all intents and purposes.

You bet. I wouldnt mind putting it up on my synchtube channel too. unless you object of course.

Go for it brah, but make sure you have proper sound recording, listening to retarded readers with buzzing and what not is annoying. Also make sure to cut out the brakes you have.:yay:
