So, I just found out about the Equestria Girls trailer, so I watched it a few times to get my head around a few stuff.
Firstly, what? It's going to be a bloody film?! NO! -.- Why not make a normal Ponyville film? I'd love that! That'd be amazing! But this, it was bad enough as a series...
Secondly, That guy which she fell into with the blue hair. -.- I have a very very bad feeling about that one. It's either Soarin', which I will hate because I ship Rainbow and Soarin' and it'll be all wrong! Or it is Shining Armour (because he had blue eyes.) And that would be really wrong too. Or he's just a random guy, which I doubt since I recognised a hell load of ponies there so...
Thirdly, the bitchy girl, with the orange hair... Spitfire? Possibly? If it is, kill me now. WHY! That is truly depressing... -.-
It looks... well... Decent I suppose? I mean I'm not looking forward to it, but I have a feeling we're going to have to watch it since they are most likely going to reference this in season 4.
Why, Hasbro, why? Somethings should just be left alone...
Anyway, I can't judge it, it may be super good... -.- But, I just don't like the idea of it... I have a very bad feeling about all of this... :/

What really bugs me is the fact that it's as though EG is part of the FIM canon now. It's the real Twilight Sparkle in a bad human fanfic, basically. That's what annoys me; it's not a spinoff, it's really the Twilight we know. Being sucked into a human world where people resemble her friends (yeah, these are new characters, NOT the other ponies).
I understand trying to divide bronies and their target audience, but a legit MLP film would have made much more sense. You'd need to deal with grown men and women going to see a movie with their friends in the same theatre as little girls and possibly causing issue there, but Hasbro would certainly make a fuckton of money.

Also, since I'm obsessed with the bolts too, I always try to name them when I see them in the background... so why the hell is Soarin sitting at the table at the same time as he walks toward the VIP rope? That isn't Wave Chill!, that's Soarin!
Seeing him in the picture with RD at the end of the wedding -was- pretty awesome, though. I shipped them immediately, basically. And he certainly seemed a lot more respectable in military uniform.
