    Guess Who's Back!?

    HEEEEEERE'S JOHNNY!

    ... And me.

WELL, finals were certainly fun. Good grades on all assignments I've been given feedback on thus far. What matters more is that I got through it all alive and now have a week and a half until my summer student research begins. Ah, the free time.

Let's get rolling again; the end is coming up!

    Finale

The show's, obviously, not my story's.

Anyways, AMAZING! Such a great episode. Best part by far is "This Day Aria", and in it the beginning where Chrysalis says "I have fooled them" and her eyes glow that menacing green and blue. Just breath-taking.

It lacked some history, and could have used some more Luna, but overall it was spectacular! Hope you all are faring well.

GAR Another Late Update Coming · 4:50am Mar 25th, 2012

Chapter 32's coming today, no worries, but it'll be a while since I'm getting dragged into going to watch The Hunger Games.

... It's honestly not a terrible thing to get "dragged into", I'll admit. Anyone seen it yet? Any good?

EDIT: By "today" I of course meant early Sunday because I should've anticipated being dragged somewhere for a group meet-up after the movie. Though I don't drink, my friends do. And a lot when it's on Saturday, so I'm "safety". Can't neglect filling in that position!

its meh, post apocalyptic death games has been done to death. Actings ok if one dimensional at times and the special effects looks like they had the team responsible for power rangers doing it. Its not bad but it is forgettable.

Worked the interview before the premier, all I have to say is I lost interest when I saw the spaceballs across the street... Ping pong anyone?

You spoil us, how you manage to put out quality chapters so often is beyond me. I know I'm going to get beat down for saying this but we CAN wait for an extra day you know.

Oh geez, suddenly I'm not all that excited. BTW that profile pic of yours is amazing.

An extra day!? NEVER! :flutterrage:

Just kidding, but I was hoping to catch up a bit with where I was planning to be chapter-wise by getting a lot of writing done over the break. It'd be nice to get two more consecutive updates (today and tomorrow) before classes begin again. :rainbowdetermined2:

SSpppppaacccceee! I even put the little guy as a small shoo in reference in my fic for fun :p, anyways keep up the good work. :pinkiehappy:

Allow me to offset Dice's opinion here with my own.

It's an enjoyable movie, just as it was an enjoyable book. Admittedly, the premise is kind of a combination of two clichés, but it's not about the premise, it's about the characters. And quite frankly, the special effects are decent at worst. In fairness, sometimes the image or camera work is rough, but when it is, it's usually intentionally so.

TL;DR: It's a well-done book movie and there's no cause to not be excited. (Though some subtle things may slip by if you haven't read it).

It was a pretty good movie; I'd say it was fairly entertaining up until it got to the two getting all lovey-dovey. Not that I hate that stuff, but it just seemed to lose that element of intensity from there on out (whereas I was expecting things to escalate more in their final hours in the game). This is just me, but whenever I see a relatively large cast involved (the 24 in the game), I usually expect a fair amount of interaction. The movie had some, but a lot of the characters were just killed off la di da (13 at the very beginning). I actually heard that the book shows even less of the characters besides the main two. I was hoping for an underdog alliance of some sort! When Roe died, that was it for me, I gave up on that concept.

All in all, not bad. Made the 2.5 hours fly pretty fast. :twilightoops:

I think movies should be more like 3 hours or more, much like the classic movies (or Cleopatra), this could also alieviate the book and videogame adaptations, though alot of books are not any bigger than the scripts to movies. Unless it sucks.

It's been 6 days without a new chapter.
SIX DAYS! :twilightangry2:
Going a little crazy here.....:pinkiecrazy:
