Dude, I have tons of ideas, but I'm a slow writer so take some of these:
_Star swirl goes to present day Equestria ends up in a retirement home by accident the ponies running the home think he's senile.
_A parody of The Usual Suspects with Mr. Cake as Kieser Sosay
_Spike searches for his parents with Rarity and he finds out they are small(alicorn height) hippie Earth Dragons living in Southern Coltifornia. It's the story of parents who couldn't raise him so they left him at the door of Celestia's school for gifted unicorns. Rarity is there just because well...Sparity shipping.
_Caramel finds out he is adopted and not really a member of the Apple family, he meets his twin brother who happens to the unicorn doctor from the Daring Do episode.
_Story of the Blanks sequel, Celestia sends them to hell or allows them to pass on after she receives a letter from Applebloom or you can make it a parody of Aliens meets Event Horizon except this time with zombies.
Ship fic ideas:
_Lyra X Doctor Whooves ship fic, just becuase it's never been done and with her obsession with Humans and The Doctor's past form being one, she is drawn towards him. Ultra super rare hetero Lyra shipping.
_ Doctor Whooves x Celestia the both of them depending on how you look at it are immortal. The doctor can be immortal if you follow current Doctor Who lore.

Short Drama? depends on what kind of drama. Epic-level drama could be something about the role of the Everfree beyond just a scary unnatural forest. Or something with Fluttershy getting lost and having to be assertive when communing with the Wilds. Can't think of anything romance-related though.
